We were looking for a nice mid-way meeting point for our family to gather for Thanksgiving. This was a great place for us to stay. Comfortable accommodations and within close proximity to Bardstown and the Bourbon Trail. Marilyn was also a wonderful hostess and easy to work with.

Very nice home that was very clean. Nice neighborhood that is out of town but close enough to be convenient for shopping and food and distillery access.

Wonderful Stay

The house was so charming and comfortable!! No noise except the birds chirping and dogs playing. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host provided so many nice extras to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Because we have allergies, the musty smell when you first go in is a little strong. However opening a few windows did the trick!We would recommend this home and definitely rent again

This home is clean and comfortable, with great mattresses for a good night’s sleep and plenty of appliances in the full kitchen for preparing meals. We appreciated a traditional coffee maker (also has a Keurig for anyone who wants a quick cup). Great deck. Loved the many lamps for soft, homey lighting. Little things (like hooks and towel bars and outlets and nightstands) where they’re needed make this a practical place that’s easy to stay at. Host was communicative and helpful, and was kind to leave a number of brochures for area attractions. Beautiful, quiet setting equal distance from both Makers Mark and Willett (plus everything in Bardstown), but would also be a great home base for lots of other Kentucky activities besides distilleries. We’d love to stay here again.
