We had such a great time. The view is priceless! Quiet neighborhood and very friendly. Plenty of space inside for lots of activities. The yard front and back was perfect for games and having the kids tent. Beach was nice and quiet and relaxing. The porch was my favorite place to be.

We had a great stay. Home has everything you need including bedding and towels. Beach access and location were very convenient for our needs. We stayed for a week and wish it could have been for longer. Eileen was extremely responsive to our messages and inquiries. Thank you!

Lake Willoughby Lodge

We enjoyed our stay very much. We are a family of five and a large dog and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious and well equipped. We had fun swimming and we brought paddle boards and used the canoe. We drove to the little private beach but it is easy to walk to it. The northern beach looked nice too even though we didn’t get a chance to go there on this trip.

Excellent stay

We stayed with our two children (toddler and infant) and had a wonderful time. The property is as advertised and had everything we needed. So many outdoor toys and supplies! The private little beach area is a great bonus, and the two public beaches are great. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful amenities with a view!

Lots of room for the whole family. Beautiful view of the lake from a spacious porch. Very nice neighbors. Very clean and accommodating. Was nice not to have to bring our own bedding and towels, which you have to do with most rentals at Lake Willoughby. Wish we were on the lake, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Family friendly

Great house for family. Common areas in the center, bed and baths at either end. And the front porch, fantastic! Private beach area is rocky, but water shoes for all ages helped. Access to a paddle boat, canoe and kayaks was fun. Beach variety close by at North or South ends of the lake. Only slight negatives were a large hornets’ nest at the back corner of the house near the garage and red ants in the back yard which prevented kids playing games out there. But they were so tired from water play all day, they were content to play with all the games inside! Great house, great location, great vacation! Thanks

We would happily stay in this comforable house again.

We wished we’d had a longer stay to go boating and hiking. The house was very welcoming and well equipped for general cooking needs.

Great cabin with views of the lake

Spacious cabin that overlooks the lake. Communication with the owners was great and cabin was as described. Two of the rooms are adjoined and it is great for young kids. Porch is huge and great for hanging out and enjoying the views. The kids loved basketball court and swing set and the right of way for lake access allows you to swim/kayak/enjoy the lake without staying right on it.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a great time. I took my 2 adult sons and one of their girl friends away for the week. The house was well situated to hiking, bouldering (for my son and his girlfriend) and the lake. The views from the porch were stunning. Everything about the house was perfect — I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 only because there was no internet, and in the time of COVID being able to stay in touch with family easily would have been beneficial. It is also important to know that the fourth small bedroom is off the master bedroom — you need to walk through that room to get to it, so it wouldn’t really be easily used unless by young children. I had considered bringing my older mother, but am glad I didn’t, as she would have been in that extra room, and without Internet or good cell coverage, it would have concerned me to leave her all day while we went out hiking. But all in all, a great house and a wonderful week!

AMAZING!!

We had an amazing vacation, this house was perfect for us and our small children. It is close to the beach, and has such a beautiful view. Everything was clean and the owners are easy to get a hold of if need be. We drove to Sentinel Rock State Park every night to watch the sun set, it was a vacation for the books! We will be back!!

132 Edgewood Park - Heaven!

This home was bright, airy, and wrapped with a porch most of us can only dream of! For us, the home was lovely and "beachy" but ancillary to sitting on the porch, which we did a lot of! Super relaxing and a lovely view of the water, made even better for being set higher than the water & just far enough away to provide safety for young children. Although we did not have kids staying with us, a couple of wee ones visited for the day and had a ball running all over this park-like setting and using the playscape. We were so relaxed by week's end that we were already imagining our next visit!

Amazing Views

We enjoyed our stay very much. The views were great, the property was clean, and the private beach was awesome. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Everyone was comfortable (Even my 92 year old Grandmother). We had a huge family dinner at the long dining room table and enjoyed the large porch. Communication with the owners was great.

You must love dogs!

We loved the house and the location. The house was just the right size,especially with 2 bathrooms and large porch;great back yard. We brought one dog, and he was on leash 99.9% of the time. The one time he was not on leash,he ran down to the neighbor that was just pulling in. She informed my daughter that if her dog got loose again, her dogs may injure and possible kill my daughter's dog. The neighbor to the left of us never had her dog on leash, and the dog came up onto the porch while my daughter was sitting there with her dog on leash. My daughter nicely asked the owner to please not let her dog up on porch but she ignored her and walked away. My son in law had to go after the woman to say the same thing. We did not see the owner pick up any of the dog's poop.The neighbor with the multiple large dogs tried to bring two of them into our yard, to meet our dog,and we politely declined. She did not want to take NO for an answer,and we felt uncomfortable. We saw another dog not on leash. The rules should apply to all dog owners,without making the persons who abide by the rules feel uncomfortable. We would gladly go back to this lovely home and wonderful location if it were not for the dog problem. Also wondering how crowded the private beach would be if all renters/owners were there at the same time. We were lucky to be the only ones at the beach most days and it was wonderful. The owners were attentive and communicated well.
