What an amazing beautiful little property!

We had so much fun! We went on the pond, we ran around and played HID AND seek. We cooked on the fire pit and played board games before bed. It wad absolutly just the coolest little gem! MY KIDS ARE BEGGING TO GO BACK.

気になった点 : 清潔度

to be clear i had an amazing time and really loved it. it’s a cute place and the access to nature was EXCEPTIONAL. but it definitely could be cleaner. i found big spider webs behind the bed, dust on kitchen objects (kettle, seasonings, bowls), and dusty side tables too. it’s understandable that one can’t find every single hair but there were visible long hairs stuck to the bathroom floor and i kept finding hairs on me as well (definitely not mine). the worst part was that the towels and spare blanket smelled pretty dank so i wish i brought my own. the kitchen towel smelled a little mildewy also before i had even used it. it was livable and you could tell the bed and tables were cleaned at least.

We have been hosting our guest house for seven years. It is wonderful having people explore our farm and rejuvenate themselves. So many people have talked about the peaceful and restful nature of our retreat. You’ll see us around the farm, but we offer you privacy.

We have great access to Gettysburg only 30 minutes away. There are several wineries and breweries in the area. Main Street in downtown. Westminster is adorable with lots of local bars and restaurants.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our property is located within the longest continual stretch of woods in Carroll County (12 miles). Our closest neighbor is close to a quarter-mile away and we are surrounded by a 300 acre dairy farm. There are hiking trails from a quarter mile to 1.2 miles available. There is a lot of wildlife, including a large variety of birds. Our pond is stocked and you are welcome to fish it or utilize the canoe. We have many beautiful star-filled nights, perfect for sitting around the fire pit. The Pig Shed was designed and built by local artist Thomas Sterner.
