Peaceful getaway

Location was perfect, right on the lake. Slip available, plenty of room inside and out. Everybody was happy!

Great location, less than stellar cleanliness

This house is in a great location by water or road. As others have mentioned, the road in can be a little dicey, especially if you are dealing with a boat trailer. Also as others have mentioned, the steps to the dock and parking are in fact an issue. My wife and I are in our 40's and are perfectly capable of climbing stairs. Yet both of us tripped going up the steps from the dock. I smashed my toe pretty good on one of the concrete steps because it is a little off kilter from the other steps. And this happened even though I saw other reviews and knew to be careful.The biggest complaint we had about the house was the cleanliness. There were ants crawling all over the trash can in the kitchen area. My son found an enormous spider under his pillow in the bedroom with the queen bed. The refrigerator was filthy and food from a prior guest had been left in it. The corners of the floors and ceilings were full of dust and cobwebs and clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. And we were planning on BBQing one night, but the grill was completely rusted out and looked like it was in no shape to actually cook food on.Otherwise, it was a great setup with the dock and everything. Traffic in the main cove around the corner gets busy on the weekend with all of the boats going in and out of Frankie & Louie's, but this house is tucked back far enough that you don't notice it unless you head about a half mile away by boat. Great fishing right off the dock as well.

Relaxing week

Great location in quiet cove, great for hanging out on the dock. We brought our own paddleboard & kayak, great private swimming platform access. The open layout of the living area was appreciated. Bedrooms were a bit small, but beds were comfortable and plentiful. The whole house was clean, although the kitchen did have some sticky areas and crumbs in drawers and cabinets that could use a good thorough cleaning. The deck was as pictured. A helpful addition would be a shade umbrella on the deck. :) Overall, great place, easy access to restaurants and stores, would stay again!

Great location in quiet cove

This home was in a great location. Close to restaurants, grocery, and marina but in a quiet cove. Could use a little sprucing up, especially outside but met our needs. Lots of extra supplies, which were appreciated. Kitchen could use a deep clean but the bathrooms and living area were very tidy. Overall a nice place to stay.

Nice place in a calm cove

It was a great place for me and my friends to take our kayaks out. It sits in a small cove with other coves close by that we paddled to.

Perfect family getaway

Had a wonderful time with family at this location. Such a quiet cove off a cove. We spent time just fishing and swimming off the dock. Rented a boat from Frankie and Louie’s, ate dinner and enjoyed a great band. The house could use a couple updates (especially outside) but we were very pleased with the open kitchen/living space. It was perfect for meals, and games with our adult kids. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans etc. We’re planning to stay with you again!

Great Weekend Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. Communication with the owner was excellent, and anything that we could possibly need as far as supplies was provided. Will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable vacation

This place is clean and comfortable inside. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and spent a lot of our trip swimming and fishing off the dock. Woods grocery store is nearby and we also ate at Frankie and Louie’s a couple times that is very close. This place is what we expected and had a wonderful time!

Location, Location, Location

Location on the water is amazing. This place is a cove in a cove, nice quiet water, quiet neighbors, great boat slip/dock. We loved it here. Spacious deck, kitchen amenities were great. Close by restaurants, Dollar General. Pretty great place.

Nice, clean lake house

We stayed at this lake house for a long weekend. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, and 3 kids. The kids loved the bunk room! The house was as described. (The only difference I can think of is there wasn't a covered seating area. We figured it was damaged in a storm or something and it wasn't a big deal for this short trip.) The house was very clean! The living area is open and bright! There were plenty of supplies, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. This was nice because we usually have to bring our own at many rentals and it made it much easier for this shorter trip. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The dock was just what we were looking for! It was great for swimming and fishing! The kids had a blast. The cove is in a no wake zone and the water was nice and calm. There are steps down to the lake and a few are steep but we have stayed at houses at LOTO that have had way more steps that are way steeper. We were really happy with how close the house was to the water and even our 3 year old did fine on the steps. There is a firepit area which was fun for the kids to make smores one evening. We read a few negative comments about the road coming in and we aren't sure what people are referring to! The actual road that the house is on is narrow but it's a very short distance and we didnt have any issues. It seemed similar to most roads near the lake in this area. We would definitely stay at this home again!

Just what we needed

Smaller bedrooms than expected, but nice big family/kitchen area for everyone to be together, nap, eat, watch TV. Could use a little TLC in some areas, but for what we had planned (hanging out, swim, boat, relax) it was perfect. I would suggest bringing fans or somethign for noise if you are a light sleeper and extra blankets for lounging on the couch or bed if needed. We rented a boat from Franky and Louie's which was perfect, and enjoyed an evening down at their place too wih a good band. Parking is a little tight at the house, wouldn't recommend bringing a boat trailer up and trying to turn around, but our suburban was ok. Great cove to swim, fish, paddle board...we brought those items and the kids enjoyed it all. Great communication when needed with owner. Close to grocery, dollar general, Pirates point to rent tubes, short drive to Ha Ha Tonka Park to hike.

Great area

Nice place to stay, not overly fancy, so you're not paying for stuff you don't really need. Fully functional kitchen was a plus. Best part about it was the nice quite cove to swim, fish, make a fire and just sit on the porch

Location is perfect!

When staying at the lake location is everything and this place was awesome! We were so close to the water our son caught a catfish from the deck! Also, we left a wallet behind and it was shipped to us promptly from the property manager! Plenty of space for our family of 6. We plan to stay again next fall!

Perfect Summer Get-Away

We selected this property for a birthday celebration for our daughter and a few of her friends. It was perfect! The house was ideal and functional for cooking and enjoying the water. The swimming dock was so great. I brought my paddleboard and we had a blast. Highly recommend!

Quiet getaway

It was exactly what we wanted. It was in a quiet neighborhood but close to enough to restaurants etc if you didn't want to cook. We had a great time and would stay again.
