Unwind on the private, deck and take in the breathtaking views from the top of the mountain. Explore the nearby hiking, biking, floating, riding or whatever you love about the outdoors. At night, curl up by the fire pit and admire the dazzling stars above. Inside, you`ll find all the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you`re seeking a romantic retreat or a fun-filled family vacation, `The Scout` has everything you need to create lasting memories. Don`t wait any longer, book your stay at `The Scout`. When outdoors please follow the `leave no trace` rule. To keep the woods beautiful clean up any trash that you may have. Please keep your fire small enough to fit in the fire pit and put out any fires before leaving the property. No off-roading on ATVs. Please feel free to explore to property on foot.

Wonderful Getaway

My daughter and I had such a great time here. It was super clean and cozy! We loved the location, too, as it was close to numerous hiking trails and a few local restaurants, yet far enough away to feel secluded for that mountain feel. We would definitely book here again!

Beautiful Vacation Spot

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The cabin was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated and well stocked with all the necessary tools for the stay, with a stunning view. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive when/if we needed them or had questions, and made the stay really pleasant and hassle free. I HIGHLY recommend staying at ANY of the 3 cabins spread out on this property, and we look forward to booking with them again soon.

Hiking and peacefulness

The A frame cabin is cozy and modern in the middle of a beautiful setting in the woods. Off the beaten path and also easy to find. The outside fire pit and lighting was so peaceful and lovely. The space is meant for 1 or 2 people. Small and cozy with a bit of a climb to get to the super comfy bed. If mobility issues it may be a problem. Will be back for sure!
