fabulous skiathos

very spacious villa, nice pool, supportive team, very warm welcome of eleni, she helped us with a lot of stuff (taxi, restaurant reservations, recommendations…). can only recommend to go there! 😊

Villa Selini is amazing and is set on a hillside with lovely views across Skiathos. Its spacious and clean with a well stocked kitchen and lots of storage space in the bedrooms most importantly fabulous air conditioning which is a must after a day at the beach! There are lovely open balconies off all the bedrooms and also on the top floor off the living room and kitchen. For us the villa was positioned perfectly and we enjoyed walking down hill to collect the car every morning often stopping off at Ariston bakery which sold amazing fresh pastries cakes and sandwiches! Bus stop 1 is just at the bottom of the hill should you wish to jump on to visit one of the lovely beaches further round the island! We did attempt to walk up the hill once - the walk up is definitely doable just not on the middle of the day! Once down the hill you are virtually 5 minutes away from the port and within a couple of minutes of a lovely fresh fruit and veg store and a well stocked supermarket The pool at the Villa is fantastic and big enough for all 10 of us to enjoy cooling off with a swim. We also used the downstairs apartment which gave extra space and facilities which was an added bonus! Any question we had or advice we needed was responded to within minutes Eleni was able to help us arrange a private boat trip around the island which was fabulous! We all had a fantastic time and will be back for sure!

villa non villa a Skiathos

Anche grazie all'annuncio e alle splendide foto che lo accompagnavano, le nostre aspettative erano elevate. Purtroppo, nonostante la casa fosse di buon livello, dall'annuncio ci attendevamo una villa singola di lusso, con relativo giardino e intera proprietà ad uso esclusivo. Così non è perché si tratta in realtà di un bell'appartamento su due piani con il piano terra ed il giardino occupato da altri. La piscina è in effetti ad uso esclusivo ma il contesto è aperto, tipo residence, non separato. I dintorni poi sono molto rurali, dalle foto questo non si capiva assolutamente: la proprietà confina con uno sfasciacarrozze (consigliamo uno sguardo con google maps!!) ed un campo dedicato alla pastorizia. La nostra terrazza dava sul mix sfasciacarrozze+pecore con in lontananza e laterale il mare. Inoltre anche a causa di un checkout tardivo da parte degli ospiti precedenti, la casa è stata pulita in maniera approssimativa prima del nostro arrivo. Alcune zanzariere erano rotte. La casa inoltre non era provvista di alcun detersivo per la pulizia: in generale magari far trovare un detersivo e uno straccio aiuta anche gli ospiti che altrimenti devono ricomprare tutto. Infine, sarebbe stato auspicabile trovare un paio di bottiglie di acqua, visto che siamo arrivati domenica 15 Agosto.

Sunset paradise

All in all a very good experience. Villa is immaculately clean and spacious. Eleni was always available to help, be it in person or mobile. Pool is large and plenty of space for sunbathing. Quite a few steps up to top levels of villa but lovely views. Thanks again Kenneth

This is my first time leaving a review for anywhere and purely down to how much Eleni and her family made us welcome and helped us on our first time on the lovely island. Villa is fantastic, free car fantastic, if you like hill walking, location is fantastic! Thank you Eleni and Skiathos... a wonderful holiday!

Great!

I was here with family and friends early in June 2011. The kitchen , bedroms, pool and terraces is quite new and well maintained. The outdoor space is great with lots of space for sundecks and barbeque around the pool The location is a bit of the main track, but we loved the fact that is was no noise from the traffic or bars. With a car everything on Skiathos is in reach within short time. This gives so much more value then booking 2-3 hotels rooms on the Island. I would go here again for visit. Best Regard P.R.J

Luxury villas in an excellent location

Eleni - the owner/manager of the villas - made is welcome from the start of our holiday and was always available if we needed any assistance. The villas are a short 10 minutes drive from the airport - ideal to get the holiday off to as quick a start as possible. Very soon we were enjoying our superbly clean villa. The amenities are superb with marble used extensively to give a feeling of real luxury in the villas. The absence of a dishwasher was the only thing missing - it didn't affect our holiday since there were just the two of us. The private pool was fantastic as were the views from the balconies. The bedrooms were excellent and it was lovely to have two bathrooms - one each!! The cleaning staff were a bonus - we've not been on a holiday before where the accomodation is completely cleaned every day - and they wouldn't enter the villa if we were having breakfast or anything - they made sure they didn't disturb our privacy. Skiathos in May is a lovely place to visit and Eleni helped to point us in the direction of good quality, local tavernas. Our favourite was Panarmos up in the hills with a view to die for. All in all - we'd recommend the villas very highly and we are intending to return in the future.

fantastic holiday

excellent villa, lovely location and views out to see but do need a car to get into town. Very well looked after by the owners and family, even dropped in some fresh salad and veg. Kept very clean inside and out with lovely plants and trees all around. Air conditioning very useful. Pool was warm and used all the time first time to skiathos and was very impressed, great town day and night, great places to eat, one local we used a few times with great views, also loved several in town on the harbourside. went to 4 of appriox 12 possible beaches and all very nice and not too big. We will be going back
