Amazing house offering everything you need. The host was very responsive, the house keepers were delightful, the beds were comfortable, kitchen - well equipped and lots of space to spread out and relax. We loved our stay and were sad to leave.

Even better than expected! We found the hidden gem on Harbour Island for a crew of 14. Everything was so perfect all around. The guest house is key when traveling with other families or kids. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Love that you feel hidden and secluded, with pool in the back and many thoughtful common areas. Memorable trip in the books. Thank you to Lindsey, who could not have been more welcoming and accommodating and to Andrea who was wonderful helping me book the house. She was very nice and very communicative. We’ll most definitely be back!

The houses were better than we thought they would be. Tons of little balconies and hang out spaces. You can’t go wrong.

Spring Break 2025

We travel for Spring Break every year with our extended family. It was a perfect property for us the parents, our grown children and now our grandchildren. It was so close to the beach and we rented golf carts and everyone could come and go as they pleased. So much outdoor space, a balcony or deck for everyone. We had a blast!

Dunns House

The houses were amazing. Worked great for our 2 family's. Quick walk to the beach or golf cart ride into town. Having the pool was a great option when windy on beach.

Thanksgiving on Harbour Island

We loved our stay at Dunn's House. Everything was just as advertised in regards to the house. Andrea was very attentive during the booking process as well as during our stay. The home was well appointed and was perfect for our group of 11. The generator came in handy with the power outages the island experienced during our stay! Short walk to the beach was really nice. Would stay here again!

Excellent Large Family Gathering House!

Spent a week between Xmas and New Year. 15 of us, 8 late teens/early 20's, 6 parents, one grand parent. Large pool area for all, bedrooms work well (used both main house and side house). Beach one block away, so beautiful, with swimming, sunning (chairs and umbrellas provided) and walks (beach restaurants 15 mins walk away with drinks and food on the beach). Golf carts to scuba/snorkeling (Valentine's professional and friendly, recommended), bone fishing, shopping, etc. Had a caterer for a few dinners (Portia, very good too) to lessen the cooking burden some, and one dinner out (Romora, Acquapazza, great Italien and strong wine list, a nice surprise). Kids liked the happy hour at Romora too (hah!), and lunch at Coral Beach great too. All in all very good place to gather to spend family time, with varied and fun activities.

We didn’t want to leave!

Dunn Home is actually lovelier than the pics. We were very comfortable, and it’s so close to the amazing beach. It’s stocked with what you need. We kept tripping the breaker in the kitchen. We often used the counter teapot to prepare water for cooking or coffee. I think it was the issue. Fortunately, our men found breaker box behind the picture in den area. Housekeeper comes everyday at 10, except Sun and holidays. That’s nice but also too often. There is a pool heater which you need in the winter months. It wasn’t offered but I’d request that they turn it on. There was no hot water in the twin bedroom shower that’s right off the den?? If you stay in the downstairs queen bedroom, you will be awakened at 6 am everyday by the neighbors rooster. You can hear everything that’s going on in the den kitchen if you stay in the twin bedroom right off the den. Water pressure is always low but plenty of hot water for showers except the one bedroom. The area where we accessed the beach wasn’t crowded at all and we often had that area to ourselves. You could walk to several beach bars and snack bars, along with a couple of resorts with restaurants. Food and supplies are VERY expensive. We took several coolers with frozen meat, casseroles, etc. as checked baggage. For checking in… You just tell the taxi driver to take you to the Dunn house. You don’t need an address and it will be open. We had a fabulous week! Thank you.

This house exceeded our expectations! It is very spacious and clean. There are so many different hang-out spots throughout the property. The pool courtyard is stunning. There were plenty of beach chairs and a very easy walk to the beach. Jump on a golf cart and be anywhere else on the island in 5-7 minutes. We would love to come back!

Wonderful home and perfect for our 2 families. Everyone had space to spread out plus great communal space to come together. Excellent location 1 block from beach. The cleaning staff was terrific and their hard work made our vacation more enjoyable. We loved Dunn’s House!

Amazing Hostess and Home

The location, floor plan, cleanliness, and overall style of this vacation home was absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time. We were a group of women celebrating a friends 60th birthday and the house worked our beautifully. Would rent again and again!

Spectacular place

This was a beautiful house with incredibly nice women who came in daily to help keep it clean. We had 8 adults and 5 kids. So much room to spread out. Very spacious and extremely comfortable. Large kitchen made it easy to have many cooks in their at once. We loved it!!! Highly recommend. The short walk to the beach was the icing on top!!!

Dunn House

We hosted a family retreat on our favorite island, Harbour Island, during the week of Thanksgiving. There were twelve of us all staying in the Dunn House and it was perfect for our stay. The kitchen is big and very well equipped for all of the cooks in the family with a gas grill nearby on a nice porch. There were five children between the ages of 5 and 11 and they all had a blast in the pool and at the beach which is only a minute away. More than enough beach chairs were available to use at the beach as well as beach towels and just about anything else you could ever imagine needing. Elaine and her sister-in-law stopped by everyday to check on things and tidy up for us. They are two very sweet ladies and we enjoyed getting to know them. Elaine even made peas and rice for our Bahamian Thanksgiving celebration and had her niece bake us an amazing birthday cake for the five year old's half birthday. We did that just for fun! All in all, it was a trip of a lifetime for my husband and me and it's a trip the kids will never forget. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Great place for a family vacation!

We stayed at Dunn's House for a week. This was a multigenerational family vacation for 9 of us. With 5 bedrooms (3 up and 2 down) and 4 bathrooms, it was perfect! The house is lovely, very large and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that you might need to prepare meals including a blender for your tropical beverages (food is crazy expensive on beautiful Harbour Island). The housekeepers came every day but Sunday. The house is well stocked with beach towels, and beach chairs. Access to linens, bathroom towels and a washer and dryer was super for our family Dunn's house is steps to a beautiful beach. I should have counted -- maybe 50 steps-- which makes it very convenient for carrying things down to the beach and returning to the house as needed for forgotten objects, snacks, and drinks. We also enjoyed having a pool at the house and being only a few minutes by golf cart to Dunmore Town, the harbor, and shops. The owner, Andrea, responds quickly to all questions. When we could not find a DVD player, Andrea had her on-island contact person arrange for someone to bring a DVD player to the house. I would stay Dunn's again with one caveat -- there is another house/rental being built on site that will share the pool. This arrangement might be great for really large parties and families but may take away some of the privacy that we appreciated.

The building that's near completion is Dunn's House Guest House. The guest house is additional space to accommodate larger groups. The guest house would only be rented separately in the event no one is in the main house or if guests in the main house would give signed permission for the guest house to be rented to another party.
