Close to the beach. Great for families

Great property, beach vibes and very large rooms. Parking was easy and close distance to beaches. Area was safe. Great for families.

Great Stay

Excellent property management team - resolved a broken item same day. A little noisy with airplane traffic, otherwise a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to bay/beach.

Very Clean! Great Location!

We really enjoyed staying at this location. The place was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. We loved being so close to the Mission Market, Capri Pizza and steps away from the bay. We will definitely stay here again. One suggestion would be to add black out curtains in the bedrooms as there is a motion light for the upstairs unit that comes on frequently at night. It lights up the rooms quite a bit and can be a bit irritating.

Pleasantly surprised with this beautiful rental. Perfect for our group- 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Great location for teens and adults. Quiet, clean unit located in a great location; between the bay and oceanfront. This unit is equipped with upgraded appliances, fresh linens, plenty of storage and all functional home necessities. 710 beach rentals was professional and great to work with from initial booking to checkout. I was amazed with the follow up and flexibility, specifically around the Christmas holiday check in. The rental process was easy and seamless. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Great location but.....

The property location was perfect and in close proximity to Sea World and the Zoo. Having A/C was a discriminating factor in selecting this property but all three A/C units were noisy making gurgling sounds whether on or off and disruptive when awake or trying to sleep. Also the floors were not super clean --- recommend not going barefoot.

We enjoyed the beach house and the location was great. The decor was beautiful and all appliances were modern and easy to use. It was a perfect location and really close to the bay or beach. We loved the patio and grill outside and all the beach chairs and umbrella available. We had plenty of towels and other kitchen items. The only thing I can add is it would be nice to have a screen door. We stayed in early October and weather was beautiful. The only issue was there were some flies around that came in when we tried to leave front door open. But it was not an issue and there was a plug-in zapper. We really enjoyed the place and location This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

2 suggestion: Need to put a chest in bedroom 2. no place store or hang your clothes. Also need to have instructions on how to use the heat pumps. it got cold on Thursday night and they kept flashing E7, and only blew out cold air. Had to wear a sweater and a jacket inside in the evening. Otherwise, it was a great unit, well decorated and location was great.

Active Ant Problem

Cute house and great location. Horribly managed. Checked in to find ant traps all over the kitchen, which to me means they are aware of the ant problem but chose to not give me this information ahead of time. Someone called me that night with promises to fix the issue only to never hear from him again. Heard from another person 2 days later (finally) only to make false promises. I was told I would be compensated and literally NEVER heard from anyone again. Also-the floors were so filthy that we couldn’t walk around barefoot. This is hard for me to post this as I’ve never given a bad review before, but I feel like future travelers should be aware of this. I won’t ever rent a home managed by Vacasa again.

Just as advertised!

This place is exactly what it says it is! Excellent location, literally a block away from both the bay AND the ocean. Lovely and clean home with stylish furnishing and nice appliances. There are beach chairs and umbrella for use, which was so handy. I had never been to San Diego so I had thought we would be spending a lot more time traveling to the sights around the city, but nothing is very far away! Quick drive to the zoo, to Old Town, to downtown (at least compared to Dallas/Ft Worth where everything is over 30 min away). Plus it was easy to get to the coastal roads that took us up North to Carlsbad (a good 45 min drive with no stops), and that was the highlight of our trip. We appreciated the little toiletries that made it feel like a hotel, the little amenities in the kitchen like ziplock bags and seasonings, and the extra pillow and blanket in the closet just in case. My only recommendations to the owners would be 1) allow the a/c limit to be a degree lower. 2) slightly more comfortable couch for tv watching. 3) one or two more firm pillows rather than all super soft ones Would recommend this place to anyone!

Could Have Been Perfect - But...........

This is a very nice rental with higher end appliances and appointments located perfectly to access the beach or bay. However, we encountered so many problems that our overall experience was dampened significantly. Examples include bedroom blinds that wouldn’t lower, loose toilet seats, refrigerator filter that needed changing, refrigerator programmed incorrectly to 46 degrees, bathroom sinks that would not drain because of excessive hair and crud, a filthy oven, and upholstered furniture in bad need of cleaning or replacement. All of these items should have been noticed and corrected prior to telling us the property was ready for check-in. On a positive note, the management company was very responsive to the problems called to their attention during their business hours, but we took care of the others ourselves. We also encountered WiFi failures. The equipment is located in a different rental unit making it necessary to contact the management company. They corrected the problems when it was during their business hours and the other times we were just out of luck. Even though the management company was very responsive, there were just too many problems and we would not stay in another VRBO managed by 710 Rental Company.

Close to the beach

The house is walking distance to the beach and cove. The beach chairs and umbrella provided was an added benefit. The house was clean and the beds comfy. We had no issues during our stay.

Beautiful beach condo

The home is beautifully decorated with a beach theme and in good condition. The beds and pillows were comfortable . The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and utensils and anything you would need forCooking and grilling They have whole coffee beans and raw sugar with a coffee grinder so you can have fresh coffee every morning. The management was excellent and got back to us right away. We were steps to the bay and a 3 minute walk to mission beach . We would definitely book this place again .

My family and i had a great stay at this property. The place was clean. The manager was very receptive and came and fixed an issue we had the same day upon request. The beach is so close even my 3 year old could walk there without difficulty. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Nice property

Unit was in a good location for what we needed. Unit had a very strong musty smell. Kitchen not cleaned well. Listing did not specify if shower products weee available. I asked before arrival and they said yes, upon arrival we then saw they only offer for 1st night. Vacuum did not work. Unit should have instructions on how to use heating system and other appliances.

Great Home with extras

We liked the house and the layout. It was perfect for our family. We also liked that a pack n play was available for use as well as beach toys and chairs. We also liked and used the laundry pods, dishwashing pods, and other cleaning supplies that were available for use inside the home. We liked the fenced in area and outside space. The house was pretty clean although the floors could have used a good mopping. We requested a swifter to clean the floors and asked for someone to come assist with a television that would not connect to the internet. We were told that someone would come but no one showed up even after several days. It’s great that a parking spot is included with the unit and it has very easy access to both the bay and the ocean. Good location.

House problems

The house is cozy and in a great location. We had some problems because the TV didn’t work, the AC was doing a horrible noise and we couldn’t sleep, the AC in the living room didn’t work. We wrote the manager who said was going to send someone to fix it, they never showed up. We complained again and nothing happened. When we left, we forgot one charger, it took them a week to write us back saying the team didnt find anything at the house, which was clearly a lie.

Annual Family Trip

We visit San Diego once a year and every year we try and get closer to the beach. This place was perfect. We didn’t use our rental car at all we walked everywhere we needed to go. Spent one day on the bayside and the other day at mission beach. Walked to local market for some groceries and checked out a few local coffee shops. Easy walk to Belmont park. Great playgrounds nearby also. We hope to come back again.
