We love the quiet area. The fishing was good.We have stayed there several times and keep coming back. We had everything we needed.You look out the back and see the water. Easy access to beach. Watching dolphins was good too.

I lost my Gran in Feb and this was my trip to honor her. The house was awesome. Hugh was on point with everything. The dolphins were awesome. So many butterflies, birds, and I saw a shark. If you want a sweet spot, and nothing around you. This is the place to go. Instacart is kinda Iffy, you may get what you ordered, or you may get something different. I was able to share with Hugh, so all good.. Hope to be back next year! Hugh is a great host, by the way!! This is a great home!

Beautiful beach house

This place was amazing! The beach is right out the back door. It's clean, quiet and the landscaping provides privacy. We absolutely loved this place and want to go back.

Property was as advertised and was a perfect setting for our family beach vacation. We have a young family, and even though it's only 1 bedroom, the couch and futon gave the kids plenty of space to sleep. The quiet, white sand, beautiful beach is right down the private walkway and was perfect. There are plenty of non-beach activities to do in the area if that peaks your interest too. Recommend "somewhere in the sun" to anyone and Alligator Point as well.

Peaceful and lovely

This was my second stay at Somewhere in the Sun. Even on Memorial Day weekend, Alligator Point was peaceful and uncrowded. The little house is as charming, comfortable and lovingly cared for as ever. I will be back.

Fabulous Host! Beautiful, clean beach house with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with two sinks and plenty towels. Everything is neat, well organized and clean. Gorgeous view of the beach during the day and stars by night. Several decks with nice outdoor furniture. Easy beach access. We love the outdoor shower. Quiet, serene and peaceful uncrowded beach paradise. Shady parking area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Peace and Quiet

This is a classic Old Florida-style beach house. If you're looking for the Hilton, it's not the place for you. It is, however, clean, comfortable and right on the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet. If you're short like me, bring a step stool to climb into the bed, it's the tallest bed I've ever seen!

Vacation Stay

Great area as its more of a private stay compared to other parts of Flordia. It was nice being directly on the beach and we loved the raised platform to lounge on. We visited multiple nearby towns that had plenty of places to eat all around a 30 minute scenic drive.

Quaint Beach cottage

This property was perfect for my husband and me. It offers a quiet beach right outside your back door, The sunsets and dolphin watching from the upper deck were amazing to see. The cottage was perfect for us. We hope to return soon.

Perfect Vacation

Our stay was wonderful!! The house is perfect and the view is amazing. We could not have picked a better beach house. Just to add the owner is amazing and very easy to communicate with.

Great!

Great location with beautiful view of the beach from the whole house and steps away from the beach. Alligator Point is lovely (our second time in the area) and this was the perfect place to enjoy it.

Wonderful beach house

This beach house is perfect in every way, I could not have asked for a better place to spend 2 weeks with my dogs. It has everything that you need for a perfect beach vacation. Everything was amazing, the deck, outdoor shower, location, the host, everything. I would go back there next time I want to stay at a beach house.

Another week in paradise

This is our 5th stay and hate to share our secret hideaway with too many since we always want our week! We come with just us and our puppies and have the most relaxing weeks. It’s a cute little Florida cottage and just perfect in every way!
