Amazingly clean house with everything you could ask for! Our host was extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish. The pool was to die for, the house’s temp control worked fantastic. It made for the perfect weekend getaway- we would definitely come back!

The house was just as beautiful as the pictures. There were 8 of us and it was perfect space. I had concerns prior to arrival that the host assured would be resolved, and they were. I even contacted the host while there and the response was immediate. Everything was great.

Clean, beautiful, relaxing and spacious property. Close to many attractions on the bourbon trail. The pool and outdoor fireplace are very inviting. Large and comfortable living and dining areas. Even the landscaping is well done. I do wish more than 10 people were permitted on such a large property.

We booked this place for the heated pool and the hot tub and neither worked…..very disappointing! Although we were told someone came out and said it was working, we were up very early and saw no one, perhaps they should have showed us how to work it if they were actually there. We paid enough money for the amenities and expected everything to work. Also did not appreciate that there were workers using power tools fixing the pool rock, very disruptive. The house and rec room was very nice.

What a stunning property! We were slightly anxious after booking, as we thought how can a property that beautiful be so inexpensive? Just let me say, we were not disappointed! Our family of nine was very comfortable in the home, but the best part was the pool! My nephew didn't want to leave. We definitely recommend this property and look forward to visiting again!

The listed amenities for the place were not available. On the listing there are 2 seperate links to list all amenities and only the second one mentioned that the pool and hot tub are seasonal. It is the whole reason we booked that property and we were very disappointed. When I tried contacting the host, I never received a response until after I got VRBO staff involved. The responses I did get were rude. I would say that the house wasn't as clean as I would expect. There were no instructions for anything, and we just happened to find the tool necessary to use the firepit. The Buck Hunter game in the gameroom does not work. Overall, I was very disappointed and would not recommend staying with this host. That being said, the house was nice.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the estate. The property was absolutely stunning. The pool and waterfall are even bigger in person. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The kids got a kick out of the 2x2 TV's in the game room. Communication with the host was top notch. We ended up tripping a breaker on the outlets in the kitchen and they were able to let us know where the electrical panel was to flip the breaker. Definitely recommend staying here if you're doing a bourbon trail visit. Willet and Heaven Hill are less than 15 minutes away!

Stayed at this VRBO June 5 -9, 2026. First of all, the property is just as good in person as it is in the photos. Clean property and the hosts were very responsive. Pool and hot tub were great and used every day. Game room was cool and kept us busy when we weren't visiting distilleries. Golf in the area was great also. Play the My Kentucky Home course if you want a treat for golf. Very secluded property also, which we really liked. A and five stars for this property.

We hesitated to leave a review, particularly because management provided a partial refund in acknowledgment of some of the issues we experienced. However, after reflecting on our stay, I feel it is important to share our experience so that future renters can make an informed decision.Unfortunately, the property fell short of expectations in both cleanliness and maintenance. Among the issues we encountered were black hairs in the bedding, wet pool towels in cabinet, stool remnants in a toilet upon arrival, loose toilet bolts, an unclean grill that appeared not to have been serviced since the prior season, and a non-functioning pool (band-aid repairs were made within 1-2 days of our arrival). These are just a few examples of the concerns we experienced during our stay.While we appreciate that management recognized some of these shortcomings, the number and nature of the issues significantly impacted our overall experience and comfort. Given the premium price point of this property, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, upkeep, and attention to detail.Prospective renters may wish to carefully consider these factors before booking. Based on our experience, it appears that necessary cleaning, maintenance, and repairs have not been adequately addressed to justify the cost of the rental.

Beautiful property! Peaceful location. Lots of fun things to do for kids and teens-pool, hot tub, slide, game room, basketball hoop. Well-equipped kitchen. Intentionally designed to be handicap accessible. Great hosts who are very responsive. Close to Bardstown with great restuarants.
