Be advised that smoking is prohibited in the cottage, anywhere on the property or just off property on the private lane. Smoking interferes with our neighbor's enjoyment of salty breezes. Westwind Cottage has a Queen bedroom downstairs and a spiral staircase to a large loft with 2 twin beds and one trundle bed. Soft linens and plush towels are provided for your utmost comfort. On the main floor--plenty of livingroom and with two couches for movies or game night. Dining table seats five. A fully-stocked, updated kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, ice maker, blender...everything you'll need; and (next to the main bedroom) a bathroom with fresh towels. If you have remote work as the family plays, Westwind has a mini private office off the main bedroom. Walk 3 mins to breakfast/lunch at the Snug Harbor Snack Bar; or 15 mins for dinner and cocktails at the internationally famous Matunuck Oyster Bar; Capt'n Jacks makes great fish n' chips and the best desserts for take-out/ casual eat-in. Bike or walk 1.8 miles to Skips Cafe in Jerusalem for iced coffee and breakfasts treats; or drive 10 minutes to Brickleys in downtown Wakefield; Vanilla Bean in Matunuck. Iggys, George's, Champlin's, and the Block Island Ferry are a 20 minute drive. The iconic Ocean Mist in Matunuck with live music is 15 minutes away. Twenty-five minutes to Newport and Bowen’s Wharf.
