Cabin was great, very cute decorating and little touches. The downstairs game room was perfect for all ages of the kids and even had a Super Nintendo which my 42 year old son played with his 7 year old which brought by a lot of memories.

I came to this property with my family to celebrate my Father's memorial, we were all looking forward to spending time together, reminiscing about my Father and playing games with the kids. Unfortunately things didn't go as we hoped. First of all, this is not really a 4 bedroom in my opinion. It's basically a 2 bedroom with a loft and a downstairs room with a futon. The loft is right above the kitchen so it makes it hard to sleep if someone is in the kitchen. The pool cues ALL had broken tips, the darts had no tips and were unusable, the video games in the lower "bedroom" were VERY outdated, we could not get the large video game to work.There were no sheets for the futon. We followed all instructions upon leaving...she complained we left the game room in "disarray" because we didn't put the backs of the futon up. ( My sister has a bad back and was unable, we figured a 250 cleaning charge might cover that). She claimed we broke her futon, which is not true, and tried to charge me for a new futon. I personally used the futon the last night (very uncomfortable BTW) and it was fine. I would avoid this rental if you want a true 4 bedroom, and want up to date games with pool cues and darts that work. Disappointing.

This was an unusual and unfortunate situation. Besides the broken futon sofa, this guest violated house rules which clearly states "no smoking of any kind on the property". A couple of guests were observed regularly smoking weed outside the game room which violated the "No Smoking" rule. Not only does this pose a fire hazard and potentially disturb my neighbors, but i could lose my rental permit if the neighbors complained to the county. Regarding the broken futon, the guest left the video game room with the futons and bedding in disarray (most guests put the 4" topper & bedding in the closet and place the futons back in the original upright position which is always appreciated). When I attempted to fold the futon i couldnt get the back of the futon to stay upright. I've since replaced the broken futon at zero cost to the guest. This room is perfect for young adults and kids who want the luxury of playing video games while in bed. The pool cue tips and darts have since been replaced. The "outdated" video games are vintage & classic which makes these fun for everyone. The loft mentioned by the guest (furnished with a King bed and a tempur-pedic cushioned futon) is large and has a beautiful view of the lake. I've never received complaints about the noise. As a 5-star host i take pride in providing a great experience to my guests. This one just didn't go as expected unfortunately.
