In a sought after neighborhood with friendly faces around, you'll fall in love with the charm and magic of the city. Inside Casa Merida you'll be comfortable with the large modern kitchen, walk out to patio, garden, and turquoise pool. You'll have spacious bedrooms, and open concept main living space. The art and decor throughout the house combines local crafted house ware items like textiles and antique pieces along side modern living comforts. From the courtyard enjoy the sound of the water fountain trickle, and from the backyard, the garden doves are cooing. The house is equipped with a water-softener system, reverse osmosis water taps, a salt-water pool, and solar panels. Modern amenities, and peaceful quiet - you'll find both in your city oasis at Casa Merida.

We had a wonderful 3 week stay in Mérida at Kar's home! The home was a great fit for our family and had a beautiful balance between modern comfort and rustic Yucatán character. The subtle local art throughout the home, the corazones sagrados with little milgros, and the well-placed wall pieces were really nice touches that gave the space warmth, personality, and a true sense of place.The home was comfortable, clean, and practical for an extended family stay. The AC worked well, which made a big difference after being out in the Mérida heat. My wife especially loved the yoga area, and our kids were in the pool every single day.The location was also excellent — convenient, central, and very well situated. The Akai supermarket was an easy 5-minute walk, and there was also a nearby corner store for quick snacks or small items. We loved being close to Centro Mérida, Mercado San Benito, Paseo de Montejo, and Parque La Plancha, which had plenty of shops and restaurants that were within an easy stroll, even for our 5 year old. Lupita, the caretaker/property manager was so kind, helpful, very professional, and was able to help coordinate any needed requests.Overall, this was a beautiful and comfortable home base for our time in Mérida. We really appreciated the character of the home, the modern comforts, the thoughtful details, and the convenient location. We would happily recommend it to other families or travelers visiting Mérida. Muchas gracias for a great stay!

We enjoyed our recent stay at Kar's property. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas especially the private pool and the upper level roof top which provided a nice spot to relax in the evenings. The kitchen was well equiped as we did cook a few meals on our own. Access to the city center and airport is quite convenient from the property location. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax in Merida I highly recommend Kar's property!

Loved our stay at Casa Merida. The house was wonderful - zero complaints. You can tell the owner loves the property and has a solid team of caretakers to ensure everything is perfect. Comfortable beds, great linens, the aesthetic, water pressure-temp - perfection. The garden, the trees, the flowers, and the plants were spectacular. Great location - Down the street from our favorite restaurant (Maiz, Canela, y Cilantro) and our favorite market (Santiago). We look forward to booking again in the future.

The house is magnificent. So huge. The kitchen is well équipes too. The garden is Very nice. The only thing to know is that the pool is Very cold in early january. Not much sunshine on the pool. Nights are quite cool too. The local property manager is really nice and efficient. Her name is Lupita. However, what is not the fault of the owner, we had a Very noisy neighbor who listen to music Very Very loudly.

This home was exactly as listed. It's a beautiful and welcoming property, and we felt safe. It was walkable to local cafes and a quick Uber ride to the main city square. Our house manager was friendly and responsive. We had a concern with the AC not being as cold in the owner's suite, and our house manager had a handyman come out the same day. He simply rinsed the filter, and the air was cold the entire stay. The pool was refreshing and excellent for lounging on the hot Mérida days. We are already thinking about when we will go back for another stay!

Other worldly

Peace, calm, and beauty in busy Centro Merida. Just really no words for the beauty of this home. The only negative I can find is that this home doesn’t belong to me! I’d find it hard to leave. We didn’t want to. It’s just beautiful, clean, and comfortable. It was the perfect way for my family to spend a couple weeks immersing ourselves in Mexico this summer.
