Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Biddeford, this charming second-floor apartment blends style and function in a unique 1860's Victorian home. Enjoy the convenience of walking to dozens of local restaurants, breweries, and shops just steps from your door. A short drive to Maine's stunning coastline, and just 30 minutes from both Portland and Portsmouth, NH. The spacious 2br layout offers both comfort and character. The bedrooms are situated opposite one another providing extra privacy. Fully equipped kitchen for those who choose to dine in.
Each bedroom holds a queen bed as well as a double futon in the back bedroom.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your time.
*Please Note: Seeds of Hope is a non profit day center offering support to our cities housing and food insecure population. People may gather on South Street before meals are served. We have had no issues with any of the clients of Seeds of Hope.
*Also Note: The apartment is on the second floor. The stairs are slightly steeper than modern stairs. There is a handrail but it is not suitable for anyone who can not use stairs.

We really enjoyed our stay in this 2-bedroom apartment! It felt like being home ... it is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We didn't have a problem with either bed and the rooms are dark (the "gold" room has total blackout curtains!). The owner has taken great care to include everything you could need (cotton balls, Q-tips, games, etc.) and even has a basket full of travel size items in case you left something at home! The shower is amazing with great water pressure and lots of hot water.Parking was easy to find on South St (this is the side of the building that the entrance to the apartment is on). I really appreciate that the owner notes the apartment is near a building that helps people with no housing and/or needing a meal. We had absolutely NO issues with this situation.We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Biddeford and take in the shops and restaurants. Be sure to visit the Palace Diner for breakfast and CowBells Biddeford for lunch or dinner! I hope this rental is available when we visit our son again!

Darling but not great neighborhood

We loved the inside of Tara’s place, but the noise outside was unsettling and the area did not feel safe at night.

Adorable home within Walking distance of town

We loved our stay in Biddeford. I had communicated with Tara prior to booking the place and she was so friendly, honest and responsive. Her apartment is exactly as described and it is so close to so many great restaurants and bars. She gave excellent recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
