Property was exactly as posted. Very clean and well maintained. The pool table and hot tub are nice bonuses. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Enjoyed the large bath tub as well. Overall, a great property. We would definitely stay here again.

The master bedroom was upstairs and there were three bedrooms as well as a TV area downstairs for all the kids to hang out. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool table. The beds were comfortable, linens were nice, house was clean and very well kept and everything we could need was available to us in the house. We had a wonderful time.

Great location and roomy accommodations

The house is roomy and well-equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The property was spotless. Communication from management was timely and had all of the info needed to access the property and amenities. As stated in the description, there is no air conditioning at this property, and the house was a little warm inside during the day. The attic fan was a great way to provide circulation and there were fans provided to circulate air.

Kitchen was well stocked for us cooking most nights! 3 bathrooms were fantastic for the 3 families that all stayed together. Hot tub is always a nice touch. We were pretty central for going to Kirkwood, Adventure Mountain, and Heavenly Village. Would rent here again!

Great Getaway

Stayed here with friends from college and our infant son and dogs. Fenced yard was the perfect size for our pets and the yard felt very secure. The space worked great for our group. No one felt like they were on top of each other and everyone had their own room. The floors are definitely a bit squeaky so with kids or babies that might be sensitive to noise, that could be an issue. Easy to get to Heavenly and the lake. Quick access to restaurants. Overall, a great house and location!

Winter getaway

Came to Tahoe to ski and explore the area. The house is well layed out. An easy 15 min drive into town for restaurants, activities, and also to the California Lodge at Heavenly Valley Ski area. The property management company is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back and recommend this home for families, friends.

Great Home base for family getaway

My family of four stayed here for a week with my in-laws and brother-in-law. It was a great home base in the South Lake Tahoe area. We especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! The only negatives were that the wood floors were very loud/creaky, and the downstairs mattress next to the kids room was uncomfortable. Overall, the property was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Fun, but attention needed

Overall, an enjoyable experience. However, for the price, I’d expect not to encounter the following issues: The Spa: Spa maintenance was performed in the morning of our first day, which caused us to not be able to use the spa our first evening. I reserved this home specifically for the spa. *No communication regarding the maintenance the day of our arrival. Not pleased. Additionally, the lock that secures the spa closed is horrible, as it was covered in rust and was hard to open and close. The Knives: Dull. We could hardly cut into anything. The Floors: If you have an infant or toddler, BEWARE. These floors creak with every step. Also, the floor is not even, which made some of the flooring rise and snag our socks. The Sliders: One of the sliders on the top level, does not lock. Also, all sliders take a huge amount of force to open as the tracks are covered in dirt. The Water Heater: Small. 3 adults could not take a shower the same morning before the water was cold. And I mean cold. The Tub: You could only fill it halfway before the water would turn cold. Luckily my son is just a year old so it was enough for him to bathe, but no way an adult would manage. 3/5 for my friends and family.

Fun for family in spacious, clean home

Great location… close enough to town & ski resorts, but in a nice residential area. We chose because it was spacious.. giving us & our 2 adult children with mates enough space & privacy! We also chose because of amenities: pool table & jacuzzi & that gave us lots of fun & relaxation in the evening hours. Views of mountains from balconies were gorgeous! We would rent again!

We had originally booked a different location to stay and they couldn't accommodate us so they upgraded us to this location. This home was in a prime location easy access to heavenly. The home has been kept up. Was clean and so bright. The beds where comfortable to sleep in and we had so much room for family time. I would recommend this home to anyone. I usually take sheets to place on top of couches, but you can tell they keep up with all the cleaning.

Never Again

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We lost power on our second day, and it remained out for the rest of our trip. A tree fell in front of the property, leaving an exposed high voltage power line in front of the house. Firefighters advised us not to leave the house for any reason as it was incredibly dangerous, and roped off the street with caution tape. Inability to use the oven, fridge, or microwave meant much of our food went to waste. Obviously this is not the fault of RnR, but the rest of the inconveniences, and the unwillingness to offer any real remedy left us feeling disappointed. This being our third or fourth rental with RnR amounting to thousands of dollars, we will no longer book with their properties.Inconvenience number 1) The fire alarms went off numerous times randomly throughout our stay, at one point waking the entire house early in the morning. When I called RnR to report this, they said the only thing that could be done would be to remove the batteries from the smoke detectors, which were placed on very high vaulted ceilings well above 15 feet and totally out of reach. This added additional stress on top of the fact that we had no power. Inconvenience number 2) With no power meant no light starting as early as 4:30pm. There were no candles or flashlights available, which meant stumbling around in the dark resulting in many stubbed toes and bonked heads. Inconvenience number 3) We had a load of laundry in the wash when the power went out, causing the clothes to sit soaked in a locked washer for at least 5 days. As far as I know they are still there. At this point I can only assume the clothes may be ruined. When I expressed my frustration with RnR staff I was offered $100 discount for the inconvenience, which is really not much of a consolation for a $1,300 rental/weekend from ****.
