Great Stay at Seventh Mountain

We love this resort and had a lovely stay at Judy and Charles' rental for a lot of fun in the sun in Bend! We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay

I’ve been at the 7th mountain a couple times, first time with this owner. Appreciated the number of beds. There was not extra bedding though for the pullout- there were some blankets so we used those. There was only 1 roll of paper towels, so thankfully I had brought my own. There wasn’t any dish soap to hand wash dishes so I used what was available. Liked all the hooks to be able to hang our coats and snow pants- somewhere to place boots would be helpful- didn’t want to leave them on the carpet. Overall a good stay, and I would stay again!

Another great week in Bend

We love staying at this property. It was our second trip staying in this condo. Great location and access to all the amenities that the resort has to offer. The place was well furnished and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Quiet, private retreat in the mountains.

Beautiful location, nice quaint unit, well appointed. Cleaniness bathrooms was disappointing. I needed to clean the toilets and shower as they were obviously soiled.

Great Location for Skiing

The host Judy was amazing. Extremely responsive and helpful. The location was excellent for skiing at Mt. Bachelor. We hope to stay again next year

AC & Quiet/Cozy

We had a comfortable stay in this unit at Seventh Mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed. The AC in the main room and the bedroom are in good working order. Even though it’s a second floor unit, any noise was extremely minimal. Dog friendly was a plus. Because the unit was quiet, we got a good night’s rest on the ultra firm mattress. We would definitely stay again!

Always an enjoyable stay

We have stayed in this unit many times and really like the unit, the price and the location. Although we did not have to contact the property manager at any time, we had no issues. It was very quiet over the New Year, even at midnight, which was awesome.

Everything we needed!

We had three adults and one pup in this unit during our three night stay. Two bathrooms were ideal. We had two sleeping in the bedroom and one on the Murphy bed in the living room. The patio is lovely. Plenty of storage space and kitchen items. The cleaning person didn't make it before our stay. We contacted Judy and worked it all out very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo in a beautiful location.

This is our second stay in this condo. It is very comfortable for the 2 of us, with a separate bedroom. The resort has everything to do for families. We stayed here while attending our daughter's wedding in Bend. We had a barbecue at the resort for family & friends a few days before the wedding, and it was a beautiful and fun place for the get together.

Summer week

The unit was perfect for our needs, 3 adults. Two bathrooms helped a lot. The king bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this unit.

Condo in the Woods

This place was perfect for us! The only complaints were the TV in the bedroom did not work and the fire starting kit was not provided. We loved the hiking trails and available amenities right there on-site. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the restaurant, but the happy hour special was 2tacos+1beer for $10! I would stay here again.

Great location, cleanliness could be better

The location and pools cannot be beat! I did not appreciate, nor expect, the lodge staff would approach us to try and rope us into joining a time share. Also, the room was not as clean as we would expect and the room did not have cleaning supplies. The pools and access to trails were great.

Dated condo which was not cleaned well

The condo is pretty much what the pictures show - it's ok, has all amenities but hasn't been updated recently. It was not cleaned well - the sheets on the Murphy bed had very strong (stale) smell. There was a chunk of hair on the sheets in the master bedroom. Other than that, we were able to prepare meals in the kitchenette, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels.

Hot and Lumpy

The air conditioner didn’t work properly during our visit. The back room was especially humid and musty. In addition, the back room also had a mattress that was extremely uncomfortable. It was worn and had a crater on each side of the mattress.

Great Condo!

This is the second time we've worked with Judy and both of her places are equally great. Judy is easy to work with, making the whole transaction flow smoothly. Having two bathrooms, unlike many of the smaller condos at the resort makes these places really work for a family of four. Murphy bed is really great and comfortable for our girls. Our summer stay at the resort included: out door picnics, an evening movie in the pool, horse back riding and volley ball. We had 15 families staying with us throughout the resort for Bend Premier Cup soccer tournament!! Highlights: Comfortable, two bathrooms, view from deck is amazing, close to pool, second floor, kitchen stocked with all the basic necessities. However, small refrigerator (even with two) makes storing food for meals very difficult, especially in summer with warm temperatures. In winter we were able to keep things on deck in cooler on ice.

Baseball- internet working mom.

Over all the place is nice, there were cobwebs and dead bugs on the light fictures in the kitchen, which is a huge turn off preparing food. We came down for a long weekend of baseball for our son. I work from home and need internet. The listing states internet provided, I text the host on day 2(we got in super late on our first day due to memorial day traffic) of our 5 day stay about internet, I didnt get a response until day 5 after we were already home from our trip(8pm respose when we had to check out at 11am). There was zero instructions in the unit about wifi. Although the stay was amazing, I lost 2 days of income, which is super frustrating for what we paid for the unit.

Wonderful Vacation at Great Resort!

We had a great time at the resort, many activities that we got to enjoy and more that we didn’t, like the pool because it was a little crowded since the other pool was under construction. It was nice to have the hiking trails just outside our condo and the river a few minutes away where we got to see some water rafters. The condo was overall cute, very convenient to have two bathrooms and two nice size beds for adults. We were disappointed that the seasonings provided were expired and one main pan didn’t have a lid so we ended buying one at the store to be able to cook our meals. The master bathroom shower doesn’t have an edge to keep water from going all over the floor and avoid slipping. We saw that the bed mattresses and pillows had stains on them when we took sheets/covers off for housekeeper to wash them, owner should have bed mattresses cleaned or replaced and covered with leakproof mattress covers. Furniture was cute but having worked with vacation owners and assisting them with staging their properties, I would suggest for owner to have a smaller table, little bigger sofa and take at least one side chair out to feel more roomy, take out the little rack at entrance and put basket (hanging in kitchen wall) on island for those items. The fan/heater (not sure what it was) in master bedroom should be cleaned, had a lot of dust on it (didn’t use it). Would also have more comfortable patio chairs on deck. With just those few changes, it would make a big difference!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Bend

We really enjoyed staying in this condo for our extended weekend in Bend. It was the perfect size for us (a couple) and had plenty of space for us to cook meals and hang out and the two bathrooms ended up being very convenient as we could both shower and clean up after a day of mountain biking before heading downtown for the evening. The balcony looks out on the forest with mountains in the distance, a great spot to enjoy a beer. The resort really impressed us. There was so much to do there: swimming, horseback rides, basketball courts, tennis courts, a huge lawn for throwing the frisbee, a frisbee golf course, whitewater trips, restaurant and bar on-site, etc. There are three pools and three hot tubs which felt AMAZING after a day on the trails. There are hiking trails right near the condo, and we found our way down to a secluded pond and then a little farther was the Deschutes River. I enjoyed that it was outside of town a little bit, about a 10-15 minute drive depending on where you're going. Very beautiful surroundings. I've read other reviews of Seventh Mountain condos mentioning that they weren't very well insulated against sound. And that seems to be the case, we heard the comings and goings of our neighbors, particularly the ones upstairs. But I never travel anywhere these days without a good set of earplugs as I am a light sleeper, and that's all it took to keep any noise out for a good night's sleep. Lastly, Judy was very responsive to my questions, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this condo.

Love this place

We have stayed in this unit many times. We LOVE the location of the unit. It’s not a very fancy unit, but it is priced accordingly. The kitchen is well-equipped and it has a full sized fridge, oven and stove. The only reason for the 4 star vs. the 5 was a few minor things; -quite a few of the plates in the cupboard were dirty. I’d say this was a housekeeping issue. -the heating unit in the headroom rattles. It was worse last time we stayed there and the owner was notified and took care of it. This time my husband was able to reduce it by placing some small pieces of cardboard in the gaps. -not enough pillows. While the new mattress is great, they now have gigantic pillows which is not my thing:) The owners are great and responsive.

Roomy, close to skiing

Good value for the money - lots of room w/ a full separate bedroom. Also has a murphy bed and couch for those that need extra sleeping. 7th Mountain resort is close to hiking trails (right out the back), and a short 13-14 mile drive up to Bachelor ski area. Great location.

We live in Vermont and have children and grandchildren in Bend. We love central Oregon because the culture and people are so like Vermont, but the scenery so different. We purchased a unit at Seventh Mountain in 2007 and have so much fun there with friends and family (some renters turned friends) that when a unit exactly like ours and very close became for sale we purchased it - now we can have more friends and family all at the same time! We come as often as we can, and the grandchildren love all of the facilities at the Resort-"there is always something to do at Grandma and Granddad's".

We truly feel like we are 'on vacation' at Seventh Mountain when we are there, and can spend time with the Bend family as well. The grandchildren love the pools, miniature golf, tennis, horses, and playground at Seventh Mtn. We come from snow and ski country and love being so close to Bachelor and watching the various mountains change with the seasons.

Our unit, while 'updated', retain the best features and character of the original resort, particularly the Murphy bed and extra bath, which were taken out of many units during renovation in the last decade. For a small space, we think our units provide the best 'bang for the buck' in comfort sleeping for 5.
