The unit was clean and well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our request for measuring cups/spoons and a colander. We really liked the location and hope to stay there again on our next trip to Austin.

This house is perfect for us as we visit family in the area. Great kitchen with everything you need! Comfortable beds. Central location to music, food, and other South Austin fun. We will definitely be back!

This cute, clean little gem is accessible to shopping, yet quite private and off the beaten track. Hot tub in the fenced backyard was lovely. The decor is mid-century modern and so tastefully done. Both bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, plus full kitchen and eating area. Having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Hostess was responsive. We will be back for sure.

Retro sure, great stay - absolutely.

The backyard is the best part, but the entire property is cute and the amenities are great. 2 well furnished king bedrooms with work areas that include sit/stand desks. The kitchen is nicely equipped for a short stay, and the area is quiet and next to a huge park. Would stay again.

Cute lil apartment

My husband and I along with another friend stayed for a quick two nights for a wedding in town. We had everything we needed and it was such a cute lil spot. Love having a washer and dryer as it was bloody hot the weekend we were there and fresh clothes were appreciated. We enjoyed our time there.

I traveled for a short stay with my husband and our infant son, the place was a great location for us and easy to get to. The host provided good instructions on how to get in. Also appreciated nice appliances and coffee provided in the kitchen. Check in and out times were a little odd but she was very clear that they were non-negotiable unless we received an email the day before that we could check in early--we did get to check in early but it was 50 for 3 hours which we took because our son really needed a nap. If the unit was not being used, we would have appreciated the courtesy without the charge but that's ok. Overall nice place.

Good Location

The property is located close to Brodie Lane just off of Slaughter. There are plenty of restaurants near by. The unit could use some freshening up with paint, etc. but was clean. The back area was filled in with rocks and has no grass for pets. There is a park around the corner to walk your pet. Checkout time was earlier than most VRBO I've experienced and we were offered a late check out for a fee. Host was very attentive.

The communication about check-in and check-out was clear and easy to follow. The host provided everything promised, and the accommodations were as expected. I will say that the property was a bit further from the heart of the city than I had anticipated, but an easy 20 Uber if you don't feel like making the drive. An overall great stay.
