Very Nice

Perfect spot if you’re hitting up any events near downtown. Not a far walk. Easy to get around. Place is clean, welcoming and comfy. Had everything you need. Real cool host would book again

Trip to Des Moines

This property was clean, easy to access, and had all the amenities we needed. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood not too far from the heart of downtown. We came into town for an event and the venue and restaurants were just a short drive away. Would definitely book again!

We were in the basement which the listing makes it seem like we were getting the whole house. The basement was incredibly clean and very nice. There was a dog upstairs who was barking a lot and did try and bite me when we were in the front yard. There also was not a futon in the 3rd room but a blow up mattress. It was very nice and clean. We thought it was a great property but it would help if they could clarify that it was a basement apartment/condo and could come up with another plan for the dog because while we have three dogs I think the dog will end up costing customers.

Ending Spoiled a Nice Stay

The place was clean and the rooms are comfortable. Sound isolation in this basement isn’t the best so you may hear dogs and people walking around, and the plumbing. The dog was barking quite a bit throughout. For us it was tolerable, but know for others it'd be a problem.Unfortunately, the hosts ruined our stay after watching us on their camera system and accusing my wife of theft. In the message, the host couldn't even say which item was taken and that somehow my wife fit a metal lawn decoration in her pocket. Since explaining that only pictures were taken for a gift inspiration, there has been no communication from the host. Whether because they're unable to admit they were wrong or still believe we stole, we do not know. However, we now feel as if we were being watched through windows and cameras with our comings and goings and it’s a bit unsettling when we were respectful guests - they even said as much to us until their final message. I’d be cautious of where you step if you happen to book this bnb.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, comfy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, the location was great, and the host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!
