Reviewer Comments:
We booked a condo at the Shores of Panama through a company called Book That Condo. The Shores of Panama was awful. I do not use that term lightly, nor do I enjoy posting negative reviews. But I think it is important for other travelers to read candid reviews. The entire property was dirty. Our specific condo was ok, the rooms seemed clean but the balcony was very dirty and the metal chairs were stained. The freezer door was broken and would not shut. All the hallways smelled like trash all the time. Even the Shores of Panama beach (their private section of sand with SoP chairs/umbrellas) itself had broken glass bottles, dirty diapers, and trash everywhere. All day, and night. The beach trash was not cleaned. The pool was filthy. And absolutely no coolers or anything allowed in the pool or on the pool deck/lounge chairs/table area. They wanted all residents to buy drinks and food at their tiki bar. The elevators were a joke. They held a max of 12 people (with threats that the elevator would break down if overloaded and you would be charged a $250 fee), which would be ok, except there was always at least one elevator broken. so there would be lines of people waiting. And the "working" elevators did not stop at the floor until they had gone up to the top then back to the bottom then up to the floor. I know it seems dramatic, but literally we timed it and it would take 20+ minutes for an elevator. Not even just during busy or peak hours, but all the time... Our condo was on the 14th floor, and we had 4 young kids, but eventually we just started taking the stairs because the elevators were so bad. I spoke with many other vacationers and it was a common joke about how bad the elevators were. The parking garage was tiny, physically tiny parking spots and tight turns. Took forever to get in and out, eventually we just stopped going anywhere unless we could walk. Overall, I would never return to Shores of Panama. And I would definitely not recommend i
