Great place. Nice people no issues with property !!

Condo was nice and clean. Could use more kitchen sut. Other than having to buy a spatula to cook breakfast with since there wasn't one.. everything else was great. Loved the view and elevators were fast and no issues. A lot of reviews were how aweful the wait was but us having 8 in our group we never had to wait more than 2 minutes for one.

Communication about checking in at parking garage, narrowness of parking spaces, need to use wrist band to enter garage was not communicated at all beforehand. Had an issue with one female security guard who was rude, condescending and argumentative. Keep making a hmpf type of sound when communicating with us as if we were beneath her or scum. Everyone else we encountered was genuinely nice and helpful. Asked maintenance to replace a ceiling canister type light bulb over the dining room table on the first day of our stay. A man came, looked at the light and never came back. We only had one light in the dining room our entire stay. Pool area is really beautiful. Rooms were as pictured. View was amazing!

1st and only time to stay at this place!

This was a tough one considering I’ve never left a bad review about any other condo in the past years.. But this was a bad experience upon arrival with the parking staff being rude and very unhelpful to the on sight employees threatening to have me towed and removed before I could get to our condo and get our parking passes and those stupid wrist bands you get checked for every corner you turn, and although our condo included a designated parking spot we were unable to use due to the size. But I can look past those minor inconveniences. What I couldn’t look past was the roaches in our condo. We tried reaching out sat the day of check in, and the days to follow, finally got a call back Wednesday afternoon only to be told it would be Friday the day before check out that someone would be there to spray the room. Was then offered what would be our choice from a handful of places to go which was either gulfworld, Dave and busters and a couple other places for our inconvenience that they never followed thru with. And if I’m not mistaken I’m pretty sure that was included in the condo description at the time of booking to begin with. So with that being said I will not be returning to this place in the future!!

Book that condo - shores of Panama 2201

If I could leave half a star I would. I could deal with the elevators not working, I can deal with the key pad not working the morning of my wedding. But I can not deal with getting the run around when it came to having roaches in our room. I had to throw out groceries and wedding pasties. The general manager finally gave me a call back today after our stay July 22-28th.she was very unhelpful and argumentative. Not only would I not recommend this rental company for being rude and unprofessional but I would not recommend the shores of Panama at all! Broken elevators, keypads , and roach infestation. My niece was followed and taken off of the elevator because she did not have a wristband in which we were told she only needed for common areas in which she was only coming up to our room to visit. The wedding was ruined due to bugs and untimely/non working elevators. Unfortunately, book that condo does not care nor wish to help any customer. I would hope no one stays here. Our condo was 2201 so watch out! I generally feel bad for the owner of the property. I’m sure they are unaware that this condo is not being taken care of nor are they being backed by a supporting rental agency. It’s all about the money when it comes to these places. Just sad!

Great room, Terrible building

As far as the room and property manager goes this is a 10/10 recommendation. However, our room was not ready when we were told a specific time to be there we ended up waiting in the parking deck for an hour just to get the code to the room. This room is on the 22nd floor and the elevators are packed by the time it makes it to you. The only complaint about the actual room itself is sand in the beds and covering the floors when we first arrived so if we were waiting on the code because of a cleaning delay we would have expected it to be more spotless.

Great condo with plenty of space.

Condo was great! Very clean and convenient to many nearby activities and restaurants Parking was not visitor friendly. and elevators had lengthy waits. Would suggest something to make the tubs less easy to slip in.

Absolutly beautiful BUT

The condo is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing, but the parking part was hell for us. I kept asking for help and no one would tell me where to park because we had two parking passes with the same number that's why I ask for help cause I didn't know where to park the other park the other vihicle until one person told me to park where the yellow paint is. And those DAMNNN ELEVATORS made the check out so complicating, our husbands had to use the 22 stairs up and down cause the waiting part for the elevators for like 30 min to 40 min cause it would be full to get in and to wait for it again would take so long. Other then that again the condo was amazing and just beautiful.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay.at this condo. We were there for a week during the spring break. Its is condo in a conner of 22nd floor. It has the best view of the beach. Also, we enjoyed the sunset from the balcony. The condo was very clean and came with beach chairs. This is located in a busy area where there are plenty of restaurants and kids entertainment places within walking distance. There was a Walmart right across the road. The only downsides were the slow elevator and the assigned parking lot. It was too narrow to park our mini van. It was okay for the most part until a pick up truck double parked into our space. So we ended up parking at another floor. I tried contacting the property manager via text, but no response.

Great property - a few drawbacks

The condo itself was wonderful and just as advertised. The management company was great and checked in frequently to ensure all was ok with the unit. The issues are around (as mentioned in other reviews) the elevators and the parking. There are only a few elevators and many times during peak times of the day, there were long waits for an available one - also, several cases of an "overload" on the elevator so it would stop. We were never able to use the assigned parking space as they are all EXTREMELY tight - the post took up a little of the spot and the vehicle in the next spot was very close to the line. Taking both of these drawbacks into consideration (led to 4 stars instead of 5) which might lead to looking for another option.

Beautiful Condo close to Everything

Condo was just as pictured but even better in person. Kitchenware was perfect! I loved the pans, pots, bowls, Tupperware etc. Everything you could possibly need and the quality was top of the line. There’s nothing bad l can say about the condo itself other than the water would turn off and on as you showered, washed hands etc. It didn’t start doing that until the second day. The property was frustrating on the other hand. Elevators were a nightmare especially going to the 22nd floor. There was only one elevator working in resort so using the parking garage elevators was faster but the wait was still a nightmare. Check in and checkout is the worse at elevators. Resort only has two jacuzzis which were always too full to use. Location and the beauty of the condo itself would bring me back to this unit. The view from the unit is beyond beautiful! The wrap around balcony is everything. I would definitely recommend this unit and go back! I’m a germaphob and unit was very clean. Having a clean units makes guest want to keep it that way which we did. The only thing bad about our trip was the weather was awful the entire stay we even had a tornado which we caught on video before going to stairwell for shelter. It rained every day and stormed which was weird spring break week but we were able to drive the kids to several attractions that would’ve been walking distance away had it not been for the weather. There’s a Walmart literally across the street which is very convenient. Check in is between 4-6 during peak times so don’t think room will be ready at 4 like we did. We got groceries first and the kids ice creams started to melt because we had to wait until around 540 for check in email then it took an hour to get up the elevator with everything. As l stated above the view is beautiful on the 22nd floor but a lot of time is spent at the elevators trying to get there. Thanks for providing such a beautiful condo! We will return. Great location but needs a few things!

Location was great. Walking distance to Walmart for groceries, several clubs, and restaurants. Things that would have been nice: beach towels. The condo does not have any for use and there is no towel service at the pool so bring your own. A dollar store sponge- this would make it easy to hand wash dishes so you aren’t waiting for a full load. Also, liquid dish soap (for the same reason). Basic stuff that probably existed pre-COVID like salt and pepper shakers (or packets) would have been nice. Other vrbos have always had little touches like this and it was a pain to have to buy literally everything at Walmart and then get back and realize you don’t have cooking spray or salt. A second roll of paper towels would have been nice too. It may sound bratty but just my honest opinion. The towels seem brand new but that also means they are fuzzy. Pretty sure it’s a small water heater so 6 people sharing means the 2nd-6th person are getting cold showers. The back bedroom mattress is so freaking loud; just getting out of the bed to use the restroom is the LOUDEST most obnoxious squeak/creak/crackling/wake up the dead sound ever- I swear it is AWFUL. and I’m not sure if the headboard is even screwed in. Air conditioning works so good although the AC and dehumidifiers and auto fan constantly sound like someone is coming in and out of the condo. Elevators are slow as crap in the morning and when everyone is coming off the beach so next time I would stay in a unit on a lower level to take the stairs every time. It’s weird that the electric stove has no labels of any kind to let you know which burner you’re turning on or whether you’re on low/Med/hot. The front bedroom has horrible red curtains so don’t bet on sleeping in unless you’re used to a red light vibe. However, the back bedroom was totally dark which was nice. I couldn’t get TV to work in living room which wasn’t a big deal- maybe someone else would have more luck. Only game in there was SkipBo which is unusual for us in a vrbo so if it rains, you’re screwed! It wasn’t a bad place, it is exactly as pictured, I think my expectations were a little higher and I’m okay with that being on me.

Beautiful

This unit must have one of theee best views on the beach only 2nd to the unit above. The wrap-around balcony provides views of both the gulf and the city. The unit itself was spacious enough for 5 adults (2.5 couples) and exactly like the pictures. The space comes with enough towels and toiletries to get you started. A Walmart is literally across the street so stocking up for the week was super easy. There's plenty of kitchen equipment for whatever you need to make but the Keurig is what did it for me! No worries about beach equipment. Each bedroom had beach equipment so no need to rent the chairs on the beach. Decent place to telework as well so you CAN have it all. Lol but seriously. Between the bedrooms and common areas, everyone was able to set up efficient workspaces. 3/5 of us were working remotely without issue. 2 of us use heavy applications and still no issue. The property manager called in advance of our arrival and checked in on us the day after our arrival. They were able to resolve the small issues we had so points for good communication. Now for the not so great parts. The unit could definitely use a real deep-cleaning. The elevator for that wing was theee worse. I recommend using the other wing's elevators during peek hours. Walking up 22* flights is not whats up. Parking and unloading was also not the best. If you have a lot of bags and equipment, I recommend finding your parking spot first, renting a cart or 2 from the lobby and do your unloading from the parking spot on level ground instead of the lower level loading zone during peak hours. In all, we had a great time and would rent again. Our overall rating is a 4.2 out 5.

Nice view of the beach

Great location, close to everything! Bar right across the street as well as a Waffle House for late night eats!! I'd highly recommend staying here for the view, comfortable beds, 3 bed room, 3 baths, no waiting on showers!! Very clean as well!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family & I spent Christmas vacation at the Shores of Panama Dec. 23-26, 2020. Prior to arrival, the booking agency kept me up to date w/ emails & phone calls regarding my stay. Upon arrival, we checked in & went up to our condo. This corner condo was spacious, nicely decorated & full of kitchenware for cooking. We didn’t need to bring half the stuff we brought because the unit had everything we needed and more. The views from the balcony were spectacular! Overall, my family enjoyed our stay & I can’t wait to book again in 2021!!
