John's house was perfect for my visit to Seattle. It is a charming place, tidy with a lovely yard. The neighborhood is quiet and close to coffee shops, bookstore, and the rail line. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Seattle!

It was a quaint little house. Not in an ideal place for seniors to rent because of the clawfoot tub cannot get in and out.It was in a good location, but it was a little pricey for us since there was only two of us staying there after all

Thanks for staying at my place. I'm so sorry you couldn't use the tub/shower. I updated the listing that guests must climb 7 steps to access the property and that you have to setp up into and out of the tub. Hope you had an awesome time otherwise.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. The driveway is nice, just park in front of the house and walk in. Handy! Check-in was smooth. Lovely, vibrant house with great wood floors that felt very nice on bare feet. Nice sized rooms, well-balanced, happy and homey vibes. Our host was extremely responsive via texts. I’d stay here again!

In spite of having to deal with some plumbing issues, host John cleaned up sparkling clean just before we arrrived and everything worked well. This is such a well-stocked house with everything we needed and then some. The bedroom mattresses were so comfy and the art on the walls beautiful. The neighborhood was so quiet and the yard immaculately kept up. We would definitely stay here again.

Neighborhood was wonderful to walk around and take in the nature! Contacting the owner was easy! Zero complications finding the house, beds were comfortable and gave me a good nights rest. Living room was big enough for the 4 of us adults and included Netflix. Staying here again in June!

Able to walk to coffee shops and really nice local bookstore. Very quiet neighborhood. The bungalow was charming and comfortable and plenty of space for us. Did not cook but appreciated coffee machine and use of washer and dryer. Good amount of towels and the puano and guitar lent nice ambiance. Yards well landscaped with some lovely flowers.

The location was ideal. A lovely part of South Seattle right near beautiful Seward Park in the Lakewood area. Walkable to great cafe and bookstore. This house is cozy!

Truly charming home, very cozy with a nice yard. Easy access to both Seward Park and views of Mt Rainier. Owner was very responsive and provided clear instructions on check-in and check-out. Clawfoot tub may be a physical challenge for some rare folks.

Great to host you! The hot water has been sorted out. I have a placard in the bathroom and house manual of the correct orientation of valves on the vintage clawfoot tub/shower. Otherwise hot and cold mix in that faucet and send lukewarm water to other faucets in the house.

Great place to stay

It was in a great location! Close to a park where you could walk or bike.The house was a little older but it was well kept. Very cozy and comfortable. I woils definitely stay again!

Lovely restful hidden gem

We adored this house, it has a beautiful backyard and is well appointed with comfortable beds. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to coffee, a bookstore, and a couple restaurants. John was very helpful and communicative. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Very cute bungalow. Well appointed. Comfortable beds. Good communication from host. Great neighborhood and close to some cute coffee shops/restaurants. Not far from Columbia city with more shopping/restaurants. Would stay again.
