Welcome to Southern Charm Inn! Our prime downtown location means you're just a few minutes' walk from the best dining, shopping, and attractions that Blue Ridge has to offer. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. We look forward to hosting you!



Welcome to the Trackside Suite, your exquisite escape situated right across from the Blue Ridge Scenic Train in the heart of downtown. This upscale retreat offers an inviting 2 king beds for restful nights, a spacious living area for relaxation complete with an inviting indoor fireplace, and a full kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals.



You'll have the convenience of two bathrooms: one featuring a walk-in shower and the other with a relaxing bathtub. Step out onto your very own veranda and take in stunning views of downtown Blue Ridge and the passing Blue Ridge Scenic Train—a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery.



For your convenience, common guest laundry facilities, including a washer, are available in the hallway, ensuring all your needs are met.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:



Guest Security & Verification Requirements:

We take the safety and security of our guests and properties seriously. To help prevent fraudulent bookings and ensure a secure stay, all guests are required to complete our online hotel-style check-in process before arrival.



- Complete the online check-in requirements.

- Sign the Rental Agreement.

- Upload a valid government-issued ID for identity verification.

- Select one of the following options for property protection:

1. Damage Waiver – A one-time $30, non-refundable fee that provides coverage for eligible accidental damage and mishaps.

2. Refundable $500 Security Deposit Hold – A temporary authorization hold that is released 3 - 5 business days after the stay, provided there is no eligible damage or violation of the rental terms.



This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!

We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.



While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.



Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen their identity and check criminal databases to confirm their reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. Guests are required to complete the guest screening booking requirement, to avoid cancellation of the reservation.

The host was super fast to respond to any of our questions. We loved being in the heart of town. We rode the rail bikes and it was right across the street. The room was very clean and spacious! Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at this location! It was just as described and convenient to everything downtown. Just be aware there’s only 2 thermostats on the whole floor. It was 67 degrees in the mornings in our room. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great location, great penthouse suite

We really needed a getaway after our daughter's wedding. Due to unfortunate timing, we cancelled our trip to Dollywood, and found everything we wanted and needed here. The bed was comfortable, as was the giant sofa- we enjoyed the location very much- both walking to stores and going downstairs for food. Keep in mind, this is next to the railroad, as well as near restaurants that opened later- if you want complete quiet, get a cabin- but we found it all wrapped up at a very reasonable hour, it didn't impact our stay at all- We are looking forward to staying here again.

We were extremely pleased with the suite. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable and extremely spacious. We were very impressed with the accommodations and it's location. It was right in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and directly across from the train station. We really enjoyed the covered balcony for people watching and relaxing. And there is an excellent restaurant right downstairs that we highly recommend. The only thing is they don't open until after ten for breakfast and closed on Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the spring.

Very nice location and the room was huge. My daughter and I vacation every year together usually at thr coast. Never had been to Blue ridge but she had. We loved that this overlooked main street and we were in the middle of all the places we wanted to go. Lots of space and very quiet! Will definitely come back to this same room!

An amazing place! Beautiful and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed the outdoor deck each afternoon before heading out to one of the many restaurants in walking distance. Highly recommend!

It was beautifully set up kitchen had everything you wanted. Only thing was we had to go up 3 flights of stairs with all of our luggage was very difficult.other than it was beautiful

Our stay was amazing!

The size of the room was unbelievable! Nice decor. Loved the private porch. Location could not have been better as far as easy walking access to all restaurants and shops. The Christmas tree in the living room was a nice touch. I do give our experience a 5 star.. Hoping to come back with our daughters next thanksgiving and maybe rent out the entire floor.

Great place (huge!) overlooking the train and downtown. Perfect location for walking around and exploring the many shops and restaurants. Really appreciated the washers and dryers since we were halfway through a three week trip.Strange layout (both beds are in one room; both bathrooms are off of the one bedroom), but worked perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed the balcony as well.

Penthouse was Great!

We did a four women's Christmas getaway and stayed in the Penthouse. It was perfect. Huge living room and kitchen. The bedroom was great and two baths was nice. It had a Christmas tree and garland on the mantel. Location is just across the street from the train and it and all of main street are decorated in lights. We would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely spacious suite which provides everything you need for a great stay. The beds are in the same room so you need to like who you travel with! The private covered porch is a wonderful place to sit and watch the people and dogs go by, not to mention the train come and go. The location is exceptional with easy access to everything downtown. We parked the car and didn’t move it until we left.

Perfect little getaway!

Picture perfect! Clean and smack dab in the middle of downtown Blue Ridge! Great patio overlooking the city and huge living area and kitchen! We used to book at Hampton, but this will be our new lodging when taking a weekend getaway to the mountains! Thank you!
