Welcome to Depot suite, your charming downtown retreat situated right across from the Blue Ridge Scenic Train. This inviting suite offers a plush king bed, an indoor electric fireplace perfect for cozy evenings, and a TV for your entertainment.

Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee from your in-room coffee maker as you start your day, and unwind in your private bathroom featuring a convenient shower-tub combo. Step out onto your own balcony for a partial view of the Blue Ridge Scenic Train passing by—a unique touch to your stay.

For your convenience, common guest laundry facilities, including a washer and dryer, are available in the hallway, making it easy to keep your wardrobe fresh during your stay.

Book your stay at the Depot suite and experience the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of scenic charm. We look forward to hosting you!

Other Things to Note
Guests are required to sign Cherokee Rose Homes Rental Contract and authorize a $250 security deposit prior to their reservation.

This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.

Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen their identity and check criminal databases to confirm their reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. This is an amazing property. Perfectly located in downtown Blue Ridge, there is easy access to all that is going on in the shops and attractions in the downtown area, as well as surrounding towns. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. Communication with the hosts was seamless and flawless. The only “negative”, and it’s a very small one, is that there is one thermostat that controls the temperature in all rooms. It got a little chilly at times but the electric fireplace warmed the room up nicely and quickly when needed in the evening when the temperature dropped. Overall a fantastic week and we will be back!

Thank You so much for everything!! It was great. My wife was super surprised by the flowers. And thank you for going the extra mile to get the balloon and the Happy Birthday sign. She loved it. We enjoyed being able to walk to things and enjoy the atmosphere. It felt like we were the only ones staying there. We sat on the back deck on Friday afternoon and enjoyed conversation and the weather. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The smell of home cooking was driving us crazy. I know we will be back in the future. Thanks for having us!

Location was great, walking distance to most restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and the lounge chairs were welcoming. The common area came in handy for a bring home lunch or dinner as well as a place to just chill in the evening and listen to your music. The private parking spots came in handy and a nice restaurant right below the rooms was a plus.

The place was simply amazing, very clean, and precisely as described. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance except for horseback riding, but even that was only 20 minutes away. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept on and the pillow like a cloud. One thing I would suggest is a full length mirror but that is so trivial. Will definitely recommend and hope to stay there again in the future.

The emails and communications were spot on. The room was exactly how it is in the pictures. Clean room, well decorated and everything was in good order. Two suggestions, 1) add a small bistro table with 2 or three chairs for a place to enjoy take home food, coffee and or snacks. 2) Place extra coffee pods in the drawer near the coffee maker. Thanks!

It was a charming room nicely situated in town and the parking was always available. The only downside was not having a chair or two to sit in as I needed a place to work from…I know there was that nice outdoor setting but it got darn cold for this Florida girl;)I would probably like to check out the other three rooms to see what their accommodations were.

Couldn't ask for a better location! We didn't move our vehicle once we got to Blue Ridge. The guest laundry was a huge bonus - we had been on the road for a couple of weeks and that really helped. Very roomy accommodations and weather cooled down just enough for us to enjoy the outside porch. Two suggestions - please put chairs in the room that can be sat upon and a light in that dark corner where the microwave is would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The check-in was confusing. Another guest also arrived the same time and had the same problem trying to get into the property. No chairs on our balcony and it faced a lackluster street. The online version showed our view to be looking at the train station. It was not. No view. Basic amenities. Just average . Nothing special. No ice available.

The accommodations were perfect in every way!

Even tho my wife and I were only there for one night, we found the property VERY nicely appointed, and exceptionally clean. We found nothing “out of order.” We did find parking difficult….and with only three available parking spaces, driven to pay to park. This alone would not keep us from returning. Also, we found no breakfast available(?)….which seemed out of the ordinary for an establishment which otherwise, was first class. Overall….a very nice “in town” hotel experience!
