Welcome to Depot suite, your charming downtown retreat situated right across from the Blue Ridge Scenic Train. This inviting suite offers a plush king bed, an indoor electric fireplace perfect for cozy evenings, and a TV for your entertainment.

Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee from your in-room coffee maker as you start your day, and unwind in your private bathroom featuring a convenient shower-tub combo. Step out onto your own balcony for a partial view of the Blue Ridge Scenic Train passing by—a unique touch to your stay.

For your convenience, common guest laundry facilities, including a washer and dryer, are available in the hallway, making it easy to keep your wardrobe fresh during your stay.

Book your stay at the Depot suite and experience the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a touch of scenic charm. We look forward to hosting you!

Other Things to Note
Guests are required to sign Cherokee Rose Homes Rental Contract and authorize a $250 security deposit prior to their reservation.

This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

While we appreciate the interest in staying with our property, please note that we do not cater to guests who live in the area and are looking for an alternate venue for their affairs or events and reserve the right to turn these guests away.

Guests give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to screen their identity and check criminal databases to confirm their reservation. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. You may receive an email to complete your screening. Please check your spam inbox for this email and contact the property manager if you have any questions. Guests are required to complete the guest screening booking requirement, to avoid cancellation of the reservation.

Couldn't ask for a better location! We didn't move our vehicle once we got to Blue Ridge. The guest laundry was a huge bonus - we had been on the road for a couple of weeks and that really helped. Very roomy accommodations and weather cooled down just enough for us to enjoy the outside porch. Two suggestions - please put chairs in the room that can be sat upon and a light in that dark corner where the microwave is would be helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The check-in was confusing. Another guest also arrived the same time and had the same problem trying to get into the property. No chairs on our balcony and it faced a lackluster street. The online version showed our view to be looking at the train station. It was not. No view. Basic amenities. Just average . Nothing special. No ice available.

The place was simply amazing, very clean, and precisely as described. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance except for horseback riding, but even that was only 20 minutes away. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept on and the pillow like a cloud. One thing I would suggest is a full length mirror but that is so trivial. Will definitely recommend and hope to stay there again in the future.

It was a charming room nicely situated in town and the parking was always available. The only downside was not having a chair or two to sit in as I needed a place to work from…I know there was that nice outdoor setting but it got darn cold for this Florida girl;)I would probably like to check out the other three rooms to see what their accommodations were.

Location was great, walking distance to most restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and the lounge chairs were welcoming. The common area came in handy for a bring home lunch or dinner as well as a place to just chill in the evening and listen to your music. The private parking spots came in handy and a nice restaurant right below the rooms was a plus.
