This cottage, originally built in 1939, has undergone a significant renovation and is ready to welcome you for a cozy and worry-free stay!

KITCHEN:
Small but fully-stocked kitchen includes gas stove and oven, fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig & drip coffee maker, electric kettle, crock pot, and blender. Alkaline Reverse Osmosis water filter in sink.
(please note some appliances are located in drawers under kitchen bench seating)

Dishes/glasses (including kids plates, bowls, spoons, cups, & high chair) are provided along with basic spices, cooking oil, salt/pepper, and coffee filters/Keurig pods. Pots, pans, and mixing bowls provided.



LIVING ROOM: Seating options include comfy 3-seater couch and swivel chair. Record player with Bluetooth capability for you to play the provided records or connect and stream your own favorite tunes! Various board games available.



DINING:
Dining table with bench seating comfortably seats 4. 1 high chair is provided.



SLEEPING AREAS:
**Just a heads up! Both bedrooms are upstairs, and the stairs have a bit of character (read: they’re steep—thanks, old house charm!). If stairs aren’t your thing, this might not be the coziest fit.

Primary bedroom: King bed, room-darkening curtains, full length mirror, 43-in Roku Smart TV.

Guest bedroom: Full bed, room-darkening curtains, mirror.



BATHROOM:
1 full bath with rain shower. ***Please note there is no tub at this property.*** Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided along with towels, extra toiletries, and hairdryer.



LAUNDRY:
In-unit washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided, located in the unfurnished basement. Iron, ironing board, and rack for hang-drying clothing provided.



WORK SPACE:
A desk is provided in living room as a designated workspace for your convenience.



TECHNOLOGY:
WIFI is provided. Living room has a 65-inch Roku TV and primary bedroom has a 43-inch Roku TV. Guests may sign into apps and are automatically signed out of all devices on the day of checkout, so no need to fret that someone after you is using your Netflix account!



HEAT/AC:
There is central AC and heat. The EcoBee control is located in the living room.

A word on safety: While Valpo is a very safe community, as an avid traveler myself, I take safety & security of my guests very seriously. You will be issued a unique door code that will only be valid for the duration of your stay, ensuring peace of mind as your head hits the pillow at night. :)


While we regularly welcome children and provide essentials (pack & play with linens, high chair, & children's dishes), the property is not "baby-proofed" so children must be supervised at all times. Guests are responsible for their children's safety.
