We liked the location it was in.Not crowded on the beach. We had a good view of dolphins on the beach.The room had everything we needed. The bed was a little too hard for me but other than that the condo was nice.Would stay there again.

Excellent Location

This was an excellent location on Tybee Island. So close to the beach and a good view from the balcony. I would definitely stay there again!

Great Condo

We loved the condo amd location. The only downfall was all the steps to get to the Elevator and to the Beach. No ramps. Not good for people with bad knees or hamdicapped.

Perfect couples location

Overall, this was a great location. We were able to walk to several restaurants and place nearby to rent bicycles. Enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

North beach never disappoints. Plenty of dolphins to see each day. Condo was a short walk to the beach. Even impressed that owner set up mobile hot spot when internet went out. We did not even have to request.

They stay there was very pleasant it didn’t storm one night but was beautiful all other days. Tybee is a beautiful island I would recommend it!

Loved our stay

Thanks for an amazing ocean front visit on Tybee Island. We are rested and ready to return home. The place was clean and easy to use. We loved the access to the beach the most!! The place is clean but it’s a bit outdated . Eating utensils and bowls .. cups … etc look like they was purchased from goodwill … TVs are small also

Tybee Trip

Enjoyed another great vacation in Tybee. SBRC is a perfect location right on north beach. Watched ships and dolphin from the balcony. I travel alone and always feel safe here. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

great place!!

this unit was clean, cute, nicely decorated!!! loved everything about it!!! unfortunately having a teen who likes the waves, this location wasn't the best as the ocean in front of the property was calm with no waves. If you like serene and peaceful water, this is def the place for you:)

I would like for the owners to spend a few night in their condo. Let me know how that goes. I know now why it’s so cheap! Whoever cleans needs to be fired, because they don’t! However the office staff was very nice and tried to help with any issues we had.

Quick getaway

We had a great stay at this little place. We didnt spend much time in the room. The only thing i could suggest is directions on how to work the TV. It was a little confusing but we got it all figured out. Would definitely stay here again for a short visit to Tybee.

Nice

The room was nice but the floors where dirty and felt like they had not been moped. Our feet were brown after walking on them. Over all a great place close to the beach and pool was nice. A lot of rules!

Tybee get away

Bed was hard. Pull out sofa you roll to the middle when you lay down & hard to get out . The pool was so dirty they had to shut it down to clean it so need less to say we lost our last day at the pool.

Dave Hiltabrand and his wife, Lis, live and work in Bloomington, Illinois. They are proud of their recent purchase of a condo on Tybee Island. They fell in love with the warm hospitality of the Tybee/Savannah area and decided to make the move to buy this one-bedroom condo. Dave and Lis love the low country food and the down-to-earth feeling of Tybee Island. Since no building is higher than three stories, the island is far from crowded. And, an ocean view is always close by. The historic sites and the food are favorites indeed.

Tybee Island is blessed with great places to eat, and it is only a short 14 mile trip to Savannah. The dining in the low country is fantastic and fun. You can eat at a fun place like The Crab Shack on Tybee Island, or travel into Savannah and dine at the Pink House for some more upscale dining. There are many restaurants in the area, that have been featured in Southern Living or Coastal Living. Hilton Head is only 45 minutes away, and Charleston is about one and a half hours to the north. There are many historic sites to visit in the low country area, and one will find the homes of Savannah beautiful. The area has great fishing, and the tidal marshes are a great place to go. The shopping in nearby Savannah is fun and unique. Tybee has kayaking and there are bike and scooter rentals. The airport at Savannah services both Hilton Head and Savannah, is a very modern and clean facility. Airtran and Delta are major carriers flying into the airport, which some 18 miles from Savannah.
