Blue Sky Stilts House is a unique elevated home surrounded by trees and nature in Ocala, Florida. Built on stilts, this peaceful retreat offers beautiful views of the forest and a relaxing outdoor environment.

Guests can enjoy the balcony, outdoor seating area, and fire pit while experiencing the tranquility of the natural surroundings.

The home includes a comfortable living area, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Located near many outdoor adventures, including zip lining, motocross parks, ATV trails, horseback riding, hiking, and other recreational activities.

Please note:

• The property is located on a dirt road.

• Wildlife, insects, and other native animals are common in this natural area.

• A cement business is located in the distance, so occasional daytime industrial noise may be heard.

• For the safety and security of our guests and property, exterior security cameras are installed in various locations around the outside of the property. These cameras monitor only exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter of the property. No cameras are located inside the home, on private guest living areas, or in any location that would compromise guest privacy.

Great little spot - very quiet at the end of a low traffic road. Clean and easy to access. All electronics worked well. Hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly. Would stay again.

The house was equipped with everything you need for a stay. The beds are comfortable. We stayed a week so it was nice to have a washer and dryer on site. Location was ideal for what we was doing in the area.

So bad we didn’t end up staying. Dirty, not well kept outside, dilapidated boards on the balcony coming up, the fire pit is rusted with a hole in it and falling apart. There were wasp nest everywhere and two campers on the property as well that were right up against the house.

We regret that you decided not to stay, but this description does not reflect the actual condition of the property. The guests arrived before check-in time, used the house, and then left, leaving trash behind. The property was inspected immediately afterward, and the extreme conditions mentioned were not found. We always maintain high standards and are available to address any issues reported during your stay.

Great place to stay!!

Drove in to see some Florida springs for the weekend and was so happy to stay here. Very relaxing and quiet. Surrounded by beautiful trees and not too far from the parks and springs. Also has a great porch to sit and chill.

The house itself and location was perfect! We enjoyed the stay overall, however the early morning construction at the lot next door and the concrete company next to the property was rather loud every morning at 4 am…made it a bit difficult to get a good nights sleep. Other than that everything was great!

It was a nice little house and had what we needed. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, everything was clean and nice. The house feels very private. There are 2 RVs on the property as well, but we did not see or hear anything from them. The balcony was perfect for evening cocktails and morning coffee! Checking in was simple.

It was a hidden gem!

The house was equipped with more than we could have needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets super soft! I was even surprised to see shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The house is off the beaten path but also not far from everything we needed like groceries and pharmacy. You will hear sounds from the surrounding businesses but that did not bother us at all.

Lovely retreat, pack earplugs

Lovely older home in a nice quiet area. Unfortunately there is a concrete type of company that is very close. Each morning with the exception of Sunday we were awakened to low persistent beeping and trucks moving. It was still dark out but I think it was around 5Am. Even though we were a bit sleep deprived we enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the porch in a rainstorm was lovely. Watching the kitties play in the empty field next to the home was fun. While this might be everyones thing..My daughter loved watching the big banana spider? outside her window. It's a really beautiful spider :) Especially since it was outside ;) We also saw some bugs while walking around that we'd never seen before. This is the perfect place to enjoy nature!
I wish I could add the sounds to this picture!
Ellie liked watching the kitties too :P

I have been making accomodations through AB&B for 9 years and never had any accomodations like this. Tried VRBO and what a mistake. This place was not good. The house itself is in a very unattractive area with lots of trash, terrible roads. The yard at this residence and the residence itself is lacking maintenance…too many items too list.Their directions/emails directed us to call them with any issues..and we did have an issue as one of our grandsons locked the entrance door locket lock rather than locking via the coded pad. We had no way of entering when we returned. We called the number provided, more than once, and got a female who spoke ONLY spanish (I do not speak spanish). Fortunately my wife was able to converse enough to get a number of the “property manager”(?). I called this number 8 times from 7pm on. (He finally returned the call 2 hours later…regarding the RV out back and laughed about our situation). Having a background in Construction I was able to make a way in the residence despite all doors being locked. Good luck calling them for any issues .No one ever contacted us to see if we were able to resolve the issue. This residence is much less than satisfactory! We would never entertain staying here again nor would we recommend.Lesson - be wary of the marketing/pictures on VRBO. Do your due diligence prior to making the reservation.

Great stay. My daughter and I were in the area for a sports competition at the World Equestrian Center. The location was convenient, yet also secluded. The house was a perfect spot for the two of us to enjoy a little nature while in the area.
