Have long chats next to the fire, play games with friends, sit around the fire table on the deck and relax to the sound of the river below.


We live off site, but are always happy to help. All guests receive our guidebook to the area, which also contains a house manual with information to assist you during your stay.

Located near Mount Mitchell and Mount Mitchell Gold Course, the neighborhood is a beautiful community nestled into the mountains with a serene river view. The roads are maintained by the HOA and are plowed in winter.

HOT TUB FEE & USE We understand that not all guests wish to use the hot tub, so we’ve made it an optional amenity to help keep base rates lower. If you would like to enjoy the hot tub during your stay, a $100 usage fee and a signed waiver are required in accordance with our insurance policy. Please follow all hot tub rules as outlined in house rules/rental agreement and posted at the cabin.
