The rural area is perfect for quiet downtime and fun activities and a quick 15 minute drive to local hotspots. Things to do in the area include the Ingleside Vineyards (4 miles), the Chesapeake Wine Trail, Colonial Beach Brewing (10 miles), George Washington Birthplace National Monument (6.6), James Monroe Birthplace (11), Montross Brewery (9), Stratford Hall (9), Town of Colonial Beach (11), The Virginia Oyster Trail, Westmoreland County Museum & Library (9) and Westmoreland State Park (8) to name a few.
The property is a great place to fly a kite, throw a frisbee or play a game of croquet.
