Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify a few items. At check-in, there was an atypical and unexpected cleaning delay. Our local property manager was onsite to welcome the guests, explain the situation, and ensure the home was ready as quickly as possible. The open alcohol bottles were in the owners refrig in the garage (not the kitchen refrig) and the property manager said help yourself if you like as compensation for the cleaning delay. Regarding the laundry room light, that issue was mentioned 2 days after when the property manager stopped back over with a courtesy bottle of liquor as compensation for the delayed arrival cleaning and she offered to change it out and was told it was not necessary. When it was reported that the electrical outlet was not working in one of the bedrooms, a licensed electrician inspected the home and confirmed there were no safety issues. The matter was resolved by resetting a breaker, and no additional repairs were required. It may have taken 2 days for the electrician to come service as this was a holiday weekend and their schedules are out of our control. Internet service is provided through a third-party provider, and a temporary disruption occurred that was outside the owners’ control. Even so, the owners and management team stayed in contact with the guests, provided updates, and worked to assist until service was restored. Our property manager even offered to come over and personally check/reset the router. For clarity, the spa is a connected spillover feature and is not a standalone hot tub; this is clearly stated in the VRBO listing. Pool temperatures are maintained within standard regional norms, as disclosed in the listing. Parking availability and limitations are also clearly outlined in the VRBO listing so guests can plan accordingly prior to arrival. Throughout the stay, the owners and management team responded promptly and worked in good faith to address concerns as they were raised. The owners and management team are responsive, remain engaged during each stay, and work to help resolve concerns in real time whenever possible--with a focus on personal, attentive guest care.

We appreciate guest feedback and honest reviews and that being said we need to give clarification to this review as we consistently receive good reviews. Only one of the kitchen stools was found to have damage, not “every stool” as stated. This was verified and addressed prior to the next check-in. The carpet upstairs did have wine stains left by a prior guest. Replacement flooring had already been scheduled at the time of this stay, and those areas have now been fully updated with hardwood-style laminate. During the stay, a necessary dock/lift repair was scheduled, with clear communication provided in advance and would not interrupt the guest stay. Unfortunately, our contractor was met with hostility and combative behavior from the guest and was unable to complete the repair due. We treat our guests (and vendors) with respect and are committed to providing high-quality, comfortable stays, and we encourage potential guests to read the many other reviews that reflect the true standard of care and hospitality we provide.

Betsy- Thank you for your feedback! We have ordered multiple additional skillets for the home since your initial message to our booking manager. Our boat maintenance staff has been over to lower the boat as far as possible, while still protecting the boat and keeping it out of the water...we certainly want to preserve the view! While the spa is intended to stay at the same temperature as the pool, we find it quite relaxing, especially in the Florida sun! We appreciate you staying with us, and hope to see you again soon!

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. In reply to your comments – the kitchen is completely redone/brand new and the furniture is just the style that is liked rather then just sparse. The master bedroom is new furniture as of last year and the mattresses are new from last year as well. The lanai does accommodate many guests and we’re glad that you appreciated the child proof netting around the pool area! As to the boat, it is disclosed in the information as being on the lift as well as the 2 bunk beds in the kids room, which you mentioned you should have paid attention to. The house has full amenities and the style and décor are shown in the pictures so you could have made the decision if you liked it or not but the house is well taken care of as mentioned about the cleanliness of the house! Maintenance is always being done so if you saw an area that you think needs painting it will be taken care of. Overall, glad you enjoyed your stay and liked our guest services when needed.
