The home was in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. Host's communication was very good and responsive. Close to stores, restaurants. Home was spacious, comfortable. Good for families. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well.

Great location and helpful owner! Just minutes from JFK, short drive to Flushing Meadows and LaGuardia. Had a good time with extended family. Comfy beds, furniture. Some small hiccups in a newly refurbed place and first-time rental, for example, soap, salt-pepper, and 3 fun functional restrooms items should help. Owner went out of their way to hurry construction/repair, helped with early checkin and had great communication throughout. Easily slept 9 with room to spare, and couches seated the same number too!

The property was clean. Couple of issues we had. The radiator in one of the downstair bed rooms was not working. But we managed. Ither than that, no issues.

The property was not well maintained. There was a horrible smell upon arrival, the house was cold, we had to reach out to the host to get it resolved. However it only lasted one day. The next day, the heat was off again. We saw roaches in the upstairs bathroom. Eventually, we had to check out 2 days early and move to a hotel.

We’d like to clarify that throughout your stay, we responded promptly and made every effort to address any concerns raised, including adjusting the heating immediately when contacted. The heating system was fully functional and monitored, and no ongoing issue was reported to us after it was addressed. Additionally, the concerns mentioned in this review were only raised after a request for a refund. During the stay, the guests remained in the home for the full reserved period and did not notify us of any conditions serious enough to warrant an early departure at the time. We take maintenance and cleanliness seriously. While we always strive to be fair and accommodating, we must also be transparent and uphold our house policies.

This home is close to shops and transportation in a quiet neighborhood. It is clean, has comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. We had good communication with the property manager. Plenty of heat and hot water. Did have an issue with the heat not working the first night (and ACs are left in the windows so it gets drafty), but they came and fixed it the next day.Kitchen appliances were updated and in good working order.No sign of bugs or rodents. One basement room did have a small area of a water leak against the wall, but the room was still usable. Overall it was a positive rental experienceOur 3 generation family was quite comfortable during our stay. Thank you!
