The house in Pineville was a good value for us and suited our needs very well. The fenced yard for the dog and the large parking area for the truck and trailer we had were selling points. We had issues with the washing machine and dishwasher not working, which the host was willing to have looked at, but we had trouble coordinating it so asked them to wait until we left (which they did.). It wasn’t a deal breaker and we enjoyed our stay otherwise. It was exactly what we needed for our trip down there to help my son move.

Work trip

The house was great everything was clean and comfy there’s plenty of parking area in the front of the house, which was great cause we had three large work trucks and the back yard is huge

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience at this property. We checked at about 12:30am due to delayed flights. Went to bed and I was woken up by someone with a pic axe outside my window in the back yard???? Why when we are there? I then found a dead cockroach by the bed in the master. So I let the host know and he said don’t have food in the floor like it was our fault to which I told him we don’t have any food in the house at all as we had gotten in late and went to bed. Then I took a shower on second day and the shower tub floor filled up halfway. I informed the host and they said they would send their maintenance guy. So he came and snaked the drain. It seemed ok, except after he left when you turn on the water before pulling the switch to have it come out of the shower head it filled the tub fully like taking a bath. So I let them know and tried switching it to shower head immediately and that seemed to work. So I let the host know.Then the third day I found another dead cockroach in the kitchen. I informed the host again and expressed my displeasure. Day 7, we were watching tv and my son screamed at me and pointed for me to look at the wall. It was a huge, live cockroach. I took video and then killed it.I let the host know this was unacceptable and that we were leaving and expected a refund for the remaining of the stay. We had to stay in a hotel at added cost. Then, the host asked me to not mention the cockroaches in my review. Not cool!
