Great trip to AVL!

The house is lovely and it is close to almost everything in Asheville. Everywhere we wanted go typically was less than 10 minutes away, which was wonderful.

Pros: The host was great with communication. There were comfortable beds and our girls loved the bunk beds. Small patch of grass across the house for our dog.Cons: The location is not ideal. It’s in an industrial area on a very busy street. Day or night, all you hear is traffic. The sound machine couldn’t drown out the traffic at night. We weren’t able to use the deck due to the noise of the traffic. There are also no blinds or coverings in the living room area. Even though the house is elevated, it feels very bare without the option and no privacy in the evening. You don’t have the whole house as there is an apartment below. You could occasionally hear the downstairs neighbor. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Completely disappointed that the house was misrepresented. The listing said that there were 3-1/2 bathrooms when in fact there were only 2-1/2 bathrooms. The house literally sits on a cliff overlooking a busy street. We went to take our dog for a walk and took our life into our hands trying to cross the street. Didn’t sleep well because of the loud noise of cars flying up & down the street below. Would never recommend staying here! Also found a long hair on both bedroom fitted sheets. Made management aware of all the above issues.
