Wonderful stay

The Condo was so comfortable and in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely when returning to Philadelphia. Stay there again.. The building was beautiful with lots of amenities.

Property was excellent and modern inside and recently remodeled. Some hanyman work is needed (handles, doors etc). Vrbo app never showed messages from host and will not let us leave messages. Vrbo said they are aware of the issue. Host agreed to text directly. Parking lot a block away was reasonable with in & out privilege. I suggest walking because parking is very hard to find at most businesses in Central Philadelphia. A/C and heat may need some updates. Overall a very good place to stay in Central Philadelphia.

We selected this property based upon photos, reviews and location, but that’s where the honeymoon ended. The building has luxury apartments on all floors, but this property appears to have been a retrofitted and previously uninhabited maintenance area. We paid a sum that should have been for a luxury apartment. This is the only apartment on the entire floor. It has a nice layout and recent updates, but here is the bad:1. Dirty furniture and rugs2. Main sewer pipe runs across kitchen ceiling in full view and very audible 3. Kitchen faucet has a motion sensor that shuts off (took 2 days to figure out)4. Not enough drinking glasses for a 3 BR unit5. No central air - individual wall mount AC units (not enough for the size) which appear to be set on timers because the air would go away at night 6. Master BR ceiling fan switch shuts off when main lights are turned off7. Outside view is Dickensian with old mattresses and filth around never washed windows8. Refrigerator water filter expired9. No hand towels provided for bathrooms 10. Bathrooms have no ventilation at all and became extremely humid when showering 11. Host uses separate non-VRBO portal to provide check-in information 12. Check out instructions provided on day of departure 13. No toilet paper holder in 2nd bathroom

Insufficient toilet paper.Beeping smoke detector.Kitchen sink without water.Notified host of all will very slow response (hours) and NO ACTION ON ANY OF THE THREE ISSUES. As a 68 year woman with a cracked bone in my shoulder, the only solution to the beeping was for me to carry a stepladder provided by the concierge up 6 steps, up an elevator and into the apartment. Also, there's a basketball court across the hall, so it sounds like a gym for extended periods of time - squeaking shoes and verbalizations. Worst stay ever. There was only one water glass and one wine glass.

The gym, BB court and roof top area were fantastic. The building was gorgeous, loved the location. The front desk older gentleman was a gem the night we arrived. The remainder of our stay, (jsut an FYI) I would say the front desk people were not very welcoming and paid ZERO attention to you when you walked in and not dressed to suit the surroundings. King bed would be great, door handle on exterior of bathroom door was missing, would have preferred a small sectional couch and TVs in the bedrooms we have our laptops and no need for a desktop monitor. Issues with entering the code a few times but we lived through it. We would definitely stay here again. BEAUTIFUL place, did a great job on this one.
