Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the house, the backyard, and the driveway. Please refer to the check-in guide on the app for more details.
*Note: The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we ask that the space is treated with dignity and respect. Please keep noise to a minimum. Parties and events are not allowed.
The Neighborhood:
The property is centrally located between Downtown and Tybee Beach. The neighborhood is right across from the highway, but you will barely hear any road noise - you will, however, enjoy the benefits and convenience of being able to reach anywhere in Savannah in no time! There are many convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, Publix, and a Walmart nearby. So you can get all you need for your stay without a fuss!
We also love that our neighborhood has a playground right down the street with a pavilion to keep you shaded. And around the corner, you have some of our favorite restaurants, Ki Japanese, Jalapeños, and The Steakhouse. Can't forget Five Guys Burgers and Fries!
Getting Around:
The property is conveniently located halfway between Tybee Island’s beaches (15-min) and Downtown Savannah (10-min). You can easily Uber/Lyft to either side if you're not interested in driving around - but you will definitely need transportation to get around as the roadways are not walkable due to the lack of sidewalks.
You can certainly go for a morning stroll on the secondary roads here as they are mostly quiet during the day.
There is a very nice Publix grocery store approximately three minutes from the house. In the event of an emergency, you can go to Urgent Care 24/7 in Whitemarsh (6-minute drive). The Chatham County Police Precinct is approximately 2.5-miles. And the closest fire emergency station is 1.5-miles away.
Other Things to Note:
We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors be treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!
There's a maximum of three vehicles allowed to park here at any time. Please do not park on the street or grassy areas - this will help prevent damaging the sprinkler system.
Please be aware that even though we spray for bugs on a quarterly basis, you might see palmetto bugs, wasps, and other insects during your stay. They usually come out to die, but please do your best to keep them out of the house by keeping the windows and doors shut at all times, only eating at the bar or the dining room, and keeping trash in the trash can.
Interaction with Guests:
We live close by, so we are available to our guests day and night. You are welcome to reach us via the app or by calling us anytime. We are here for you!
You are set up for self-check-in. The codes and instructions will be sent to you via the app at 3 pm on the day of your arrival. It is important that you visit the check-in guide for step-by-step instructions on how to enter the property.
You can park in the garage when the owners are not in town for free. Otherwise, please park on the street. Street spaces are free and typically available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The space is dog-friendly. Our pet fee is set to $50 per day, per dog. This helps us maintain the space at a high level of cleanliness while accepting fur friends. Note: ESAs also pay a pet fee.
