The Meadows-Modern Kirkwood Family Studio

Summary:
Have fun with the whole family at world class Kirkwood, within short walking distance to both lift bases. A perfect place to spend the weekend or work remotely at Kirkwood. With a luxury queen murphy bed that hides away as a couch, and twin XL bunk beds, there's plenty of room for a crew of 4 after hitting the slopes. This is a great unit to unwind that includes a full kitchen and HD 55” Roku TV. The building has a communal lounge and bbq, and hot tub during winter.

The Space:
This room is a small studio with a full kitchen and bathroom. It has a queen murphy bed and twin murphy bunk beds. There is a small private deck facing the meadow. We provide a small coffee bar to enjoy, towel's, hand soaps and shower necessities. The building has a large common area and communal hot tub that is open in the winter/ski season. The condo comes with one underground parking spot with additional outside permit parking available. Coin operated laundry in the building.

Guest Access:
Besides the space of your room, the building has communal areas that include giant couches, a fireplace, working spaces, a hot tub (in winter), 10 burner grill, and a patio. If you decide that you just want to walk around the snowy paths, the building is right on the Kirkwood Meadow with miles of walking/hiking/biking, snow shoeing, and cross country ski paths.

The Neighborhood:
The Meadows is a quick walk to the main village and ski lifts 6 and 5. Timber creek is a bit further, but shuttles run all day and pick up right in front of the building. From the building you can access the meadow for x-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. During winter hours you are a short walk to the cornice grill restaraunt and bar for after skiing hours

The mountain hiking and biking right from the door is wonderful in summer time, and you may be stunned by Kirkwood's plethora of native wild flowers. There are also nearby alpine lakes, world class hiking trails, hot springs, rivers for fishing, camping and all that the beautiful high sierra has to offer.

Getting Around:
The Meadows building at Kirkwood is the perfect setting for accessing the slopes during the day and having a restful evening at night. Easy walking access to both lift bases. Evening food and libations available at 7800 Club or Cornice Pizza.

A shuttle runs during ski operation hours and picks up/drops off in the front of the building.

We stand by our Cancellation Policy. Kirkwood is a mountain town and gets a large amount of snow. Please be prepared to travel during inclement weather.
