Relax in this beautifully appointed, air-conditioned 1950s Colonial home with a heated in-ground pool, located off of the PA Turnpike in New Stanton, exit 75.

Nestled in a quiet semi-rural area, our family home offers comfort and convenience.

Location Highlights:

- Walking distance from Westmoreland County Community College
and 5 Star walking/bike trail.

- Close to the city of Greensburg with attractions including restaurants, museums, shopping, and a casino.

- Outdoor Laurel Highlands Adventures include Fort Necessity, Ohiopyle, Jumonville, Ligonier, Hidden Valley and Seven Springs Ski Resorts.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood and the heated pool was lovely. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had everything you would need for fixing meals. We hope to stay again sometime!

I rented the property for a birthday weekend with friends. The house is beautiful and even nicer than it looks in the photos. It is decorated with a lot of interesting items. There is so much space for entertaining. The kitchen was great and fully equipped with all the cooking implements and dishes we needed. The heated pool was AWESOME. All 8 of us enjoyed ourselves so much and would highly recommend this property.

This was the perfect place for a weekend with friends! The house is beautiful and has everything you need, the pool is perfect, and the property is gorgeous! We loved hanging out by the pool, playing games, and just enjoying time together. We went to Greendance Winery which was fun and super close by and enjoyed a day in Pittsburgh as well! Highly recommend!

This is s great place for friends and family. On this property you will have everything you need for the stay. There is plenty of space and lots of games for the children. An amazing pool area for adults and children. I will visit again.

Wonderfull home and location

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well stocked with everything we needed. The heated pool was fantastic, with plenty of outdoor chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The location was beautiful, with lovely views of rolling hills and horses nearby, yet still conveniently close to shops, restaurants, and other facilities. Communication with the house manager was excellent—quick, helpful, and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again!

This home holds a special place in our hearts-it's been in our family for generations. Our parents moved to this town from New Jersey when our father began working for Winkie's. As the company faded with the rise of McDonalds, he followed a new dream. In 1972, our father, Joseph Pappalardo, purchased one of the oldest buildings in Western Pennsylvania. After three years of restoration, he opened The Back Porch Restaurant in Charleroi, PA.

Today, The Back Porch Restaurant has become not only a beloved community staple, but also a destination spot for visitors near and far.
