Very lovely home. Would have appreciated a heads up that landscapers were coming at 8:00 am on Tuesday. Overall great location and room for our family.

A beautiful, comfortable home within a short walk to the beach and restaurants. A nice outdoor deck for relaxing, and short drive to downtown Boston, the airport and coastal towns

We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in Boston! The place was very comfortable and flexible. The deck is amazing! We enjoyed many cups of coffee and glasses of wine under that extraordinary Maple tree.

To sum it up, we didn't want to leave! Such a beautifully restored home in a great location with all the modern conveniences. Very well equipped kitchen, and added touches throughout the home for our comfort. Very easy check in and check out. Communication was great.

Beautiful home by the bay

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home just a black from the water and shops. Parking was easy and all the things needed for a great stay were provided by the host. Better than expected experience for sure.

Great stay close to Boston, beach, and Salem

Mark’s place is wonderfully tucked away from the city. A short walk to the beach, short drive to Salem and about 40 minutes (in traffic) to Boston. It was quite a luxury for walkable restaurants, parks, and shopping. Mark is very accommodating and responsive to the guests. I hope to be back one day.

This home fit our family’s needs perfectly. Mark was in touch and easily reachable, although we never needed anything. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet, we slept like logs. The mattresses were very comfortable. The house was clean and beautiful. If you love old homes, you’ll fall in love with this one. It was an easy walk down the hill to Humphrey St. You get glimpses of Nahant Bay and a bit of the Boston skyline from the loft. Nahant Bay is viewable from the front lawn/driveway area. The location is perfect to visit Salem, Gloucester, Rockport, etc. I’d give ten stars if I was able to!

First time in Swampscott and hopefully won’t be the last! The house was warm, welcoming, and charming. There’s a delicious Thai restaurant, frozen yogurt shop, and brunch place within 5 minutes (walking) from the house. The beach is also walking distance. Everything is really accessible and close by, within 5-20 minute walk. I was in town for a wedding and was able to find a great nail salon and barber. The check in process was seamless. Pro tip: there’s 4 different doors to get into the house. I had an issue that was a fault of my own and Mark was so quick to respond to me and help. He even made time to help me while on a trip of his own. Such amazing customer service!The home is ready for everything you’d need for a vacation: -fully stocked kitchen -fresh coffee grounds, tea, and sugar -smart tv-projector-work space with a walking treadmill with a direct shot of the beach-hammock to relax in-deck to do yoga on-beach towels and chairs-farmers market tote for you guess it, the farmer’s market on SaturdaysYou’ll fall in love with the house and the town!

We loved this home. The location was excellent. We loved the walks to breakfast and coffee in the morning and the restaurants in the evening. The house is spacious with a gorgeous deck in a beautiful yard.
