When we walked to the owner's property on the 3rd floor in the evening with our heavy items, including groceries for dinner and water, we found the baggage of others and the TV turned on. We asked the owner about the situation, and she said she got double booked because of some errors by Vrbo. We had to find other accommodations to stay at the spot in front of the building, shivering in the cold, with our starving three kids. We called Vrbo but were put on hold for over 30 minutes. When we finally did get connected to an operator, the line was disconnected before we could fully explain our situation. They did not even call us back. We eventually had to stay in the 2-star hotel that we definitely did not want to visit and started to make our dinner at 10 pm. In the hectic situation that night, the owner texted us to request to cancel this trip on our end for fear of affecting her metrics. How dare you. We wasted our precious time, effort, gas, and mileage of our cars. On top of that, Vrbo and the owner ruined our family reunion. How will Vrbo and the owner compensate us for this terrible experience on our trip?
