Discover the Charm of a 500-Year-Old Dubrovnik Home
Nestled beneath the towering walls of Minčeta Tower, in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, lies a home steeped in history and timeless charm. For over five centuries, this house has been a sanctuary for generations of our family, its walls holding countless stories from the past.
The location of the house is nothing short of magical – directly across from St. Sigurata, the oldest church in Dubrovnik, whose rich history and attached museum offer a glimpse into the city's ancient roots. Just a short walk away is the Monastery of the Little Brothers (Franciscans), home to one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, still in operation today, where you can discover centuries-old remedies and traditions. And, of course, just a few steps from Stradun, the main street, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the vibrant culture and beauty of Dubrovnik’s historic center.
Despite its centuries-old heritage, the house has been thoughtfully adapted to provide the modern comforts that make your stay truly unforgettable. The interior blends rustic charm with contemporary elegance. You’ll sleep soundly in the queen bed, while the two twin beds offer additional comfort for your family or friends. With two bathrooms, a cozy living room featuring a sofa bed, and all the modern amenities – heating, air conditioning, a hair dryer, and Wi-Fi – your stay will be as comfortable as it is historic.
Whether you’re relaxing in the peaceful atmosphere of the home, or stepping out to explore the nearby landmarks, restaurants, and hidden gems of Dubrovnik, you’ll find yourself immersed in an experience that’s as rich and vibrant as the city itself.
We invite you to step into our home, where history and modernity meet, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Welcome to a place where every stone tells a story and every corner has a secret to share.
