Built in the 1820's and home to Ma and Pa's Log Cabin and Sleigh Rides. The Log Cabin was dismantled and resurrected in Geauga County, Ohio. Come to the Wilderness! The Wild at Heart Log Cabin was our Retail Store for 23 Years. We still sell on our website etc. Ma and Pa make their own Maple Syrup.
The 1820's Log Cabin has 3 Floors, Downstairs is a pullout barnwood very comfy bed. Upstairs has a Loft Bedroom with a Queen size bed and Twin Size Bed. Basement Floor has a Game Room.
There is a Grill, outdoor firepit, patio, porch and walking trail all for your to enjoy!
You will not be able to book weekend that we run our Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides, However, we do have another Cabin if available.
When the flakes start flying in the winter months Pa hitches up the horses for a Winter Adventure. Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides served with Maple Coffee and Bakery. Experience the simple life again. Make a Memory every season at Ma and Pa's. Sign up for our Emails!

We Do Not Charge a Cleaning Fee for this Cabin or Expect you to do any Chores during your Visit. However, we do ask that you respect our property, pick up after yourselves, clean up any messes or spills and take care of the place. Expect to be billed a $75 Cleaning Fee if you do not do this!
We will provide you with 1 (one) Bundle of kiln dried firewood for your stay, we Do Not Allow any brought in Firewood! If you need more let us know before your stay, $7 per bundle. We have maple trees in the back and don't want any pests brought in.
When you arrive if you have any concerns or needs let us know then, don't complain afterwards we cannot help if you don't let us know ahead of time, not after the fact.
This Cabin is Rustic however this does not mean doesn't have.
If you don't like rustic please do not book.
The Loft Bedroom floor has some unevenness, if you cannot walk well, please sleep downstairs in the pullout bed.
Please watch your kids as this Cabin is not conducive to small children!
