Escape to Logging Camp Cabins, a private lakefront retreat on Rainbow Lake, in northwest Montana. Set on nearly 200 private acres, each modern cabin offers lake views, privacy, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, Starlink WiFi, A/C, heat, covered deck, grill, and room for up to 5 guests. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, walking paths, and peaceful Montana seclusion just minutes from Happy’s Inn.


We won't be available in person. You will have a contactless check-in and out process.

Happy’s Inn (2 minutes to the east) has a small convenience store which sells most household supplies and has a popular summer concert series.

Second bedroom has a bunk bed that is full over full.
There is a twin pull out sleeper in the living room

The property does not have cell service. We have Starlink internet. If you enable wifi calling on your device, you will be able to send and receive calls using the internet.

Perfect Mountain Lake Getaway at Logging Camp Cabins!

Our stay at the Logging Camp Cabins was nothing short of magical. Tucked away in the woods on a pristine private lake, this was the peaceful escape we didn’t know we needed. The cabins perfectly balance charm with modern comfort—they’re cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything from a well-stocked kitchen, to soft, warm bedding. Waking up each morning to the stillness of the lake was incredible. We spent our days paddling in the clear water, lounging on the deck, and taking in the serene views that felt like our own hidden paradise. The private setting made it feel exclusive and tranquil—no crowds, no noise, just pure nature. Evenings under the stars were spectacular. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat, a family getaway, or just some quiet time to unplug, Logging Camp Cabins offers an experience that’s both restful and revitalizing. We can't wait to return to this little slice of heaven on the lake!

Amazing property! We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, as the other cabin was vacant. We enjoyed the surrounding views and perch fishing from the dock. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The location couldn't be better as a home base for fishing the Thompson Chain Lakes. Happy's Inn right down the street was fun - good food and drinks, and the locals were friendly! Communication with the host was great.
