This newly remodeled house in Bergland offers a pleasant stay for guests with 2 queen beds in 2 bedrooms. Enjoy the convenience of a living room with an additional sofa bed, perfect for extra guests. With amenities like a washing machine and dryer, heating and air-conditioning, and WiFi, your comfort is guaranteed. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. The home is located right on the snowmobile and ATV trail and just 1/3rd of a mile to the Lake Gogebic boat ramp. With just a short 20 min. drive you can find yourself on the shore of Lake Superior or in the Porcupine Mountain State Park. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. After a long day on the trail or on the lake you can catch a refreshment at the Bergland Bay Bar just around the corner.

Wonderful place to stay at for snowmobiling as the trail goes right past the front yard. Room to park your 1 ton and 29’ trailer. The house is clean and very nicely remodeled. We did use the pull out couch in the living room, which is pretty thin and uncomfortable unfortunately. Would recommend brining your own travel mattress to put down if you need the space.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. It's true - the trail goes right through the front yard. As for the pull out couch...I've never found a pull out sofa sleeper mattress that is actually comfortable. If you know a brand/manufacturer - I'd happily consider upgrading it.

Our stay had everything we needed. A resonable distance to Porcupine Mt. We drove over and did some hiking. Also drove to Copper Harbor for a day of exploring. The house is just as pictured and described. Comforable and clean.

Born and raised in the La Crosse, WI area along the Mississippi River surrounded by nature's beauty. As a snowmobile enthusiast my husband and I found ourselves also loving the beauty of the Upper Peninsula as well. In 2021 we bought a piece of property on the west shore of Lake Gogebic and decided this is the area we'd like to retire to. As owners of a home building company and owners of rental properties we decided to expand our rental portfolio in the U.P. to cater to guests that enjoy the same outdoor recreation passions that we do.

Bergland is a great hub for all sorts of outdoor recreation enthusiasts. This charming little town is a great spot for boaters, fisherman, hikers, skiers, snowmobilers, & ATV riders. Located on the north shore of the state's largest inland lake, Lake Gogebic, and at the base of the Porcupine Mountains and a short drive to Lake Superior, Bergland is a great central location to enjoy all things outdoors.

This house is a short walk to the beach, very near the boat landing, and right on the trail corridor. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. The home was completely renovated in 2023 and boasts all brand new finishes and furnishings. The home sits on a property that was once home to the Bergland Hotel, the Hotel Bar, Shangrila, and Sully's or Paul's Bar. There is charming history as to the number of travelers that have stayed on this piece of real estate.
