Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house, the location was amazing!the pool was beautiful and warm, our kids really enjoyed it! The home was very clean and comfortable. We loved the in about 20 minutes you could get to either South Lido Beach or Siesta Key Beach. The beds were comfortable and we slept well every night. We loved the starter pack of cleaning items, it was very useful. The kids really enjoyed the wild peacocks that roam the neighborhood, that was an unexpected surprise! We would 10 out of 10 recommend Sapphire Shores, we would love to stay again!

wonderful vacation

we could not have picked a more perfect place to spend a week. First, the house is located in the most lovely neighborhood. Huge trees, beautiful vegetation, quiet and yet near everything. Don’t miss a walk around the neighborhood. The house is perfect, -clean, comfortable, beds comfy (important to me). Everything is thoughtfully provided. The pool, backyard is just delightful. We were blessed with gorgeous weather so we took full advantage of the outdoor space. This is the only place I would come back to in Sarasota. Highest recommendation.

Indian Beach Sapphire Shored

Loved the location, the house, the pool was great. beds were comfortable. Kitchen and items for use was sufficient. A coupe suggestions, supply enough toilet paper for the week, nice to have salts and pepper but there was very little salt in the shaker. Very inconvenient to have to buy a full container. Can’t take that in the plane, too big, same with toilet paper. Could only find an 8 pack. We left 7.5 rolls there for the next people. TV kept losing signal. Had to wait for the WiFi signal to come back. Happened frequently everyday. But the good by far out weight the minor inconveniences. We had a great time. Beautiful neighborhood. Would love to come back next year!

Nice house

The family loved the house, especially the backyard. Easy drive to the beaches and restaurants. Bonus - got to see peacocks in the front yard most mornings!

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle with a taste of “old Sarasota.” The home was spotless upon our arrival and had all of the essentials to get us going — toiletries, coffee, and dish washing supplies. The space is nicely appointed and comfortable for 2-4 people. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with a pool, an outdoor kitchen, and plenty of space for lounging. And very close to the airport which was very convenient. A great place overall.

Great Escapel

What a wonderful, not overstated, terrifically located property! Needed to work while visiting, WiFi was excellent! Air conditioning for those not acclimated to the heat was def not cool enough, but that was a personal issue. Loved our time here!!

Great Experience

Home was immaculate, nicely decorated and beds very comfortable. The outdoor space was great and very relaxing. Property manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Positive and negative

House is clean and attractive, true to pictures. Backyard pool is very nice, could not use as much as we hoped due to weather. Property managers were responsive to some small problems with our stay. Check in was easy. A little disconcerting that we never received the partial refund we were promised due to some issues with our stay. The house is in a residential neighborhood that is a short driving distance to everything. There are no “spring break parties” or big noise at night, however there is CONSTANT activity and noise during the day - construction, noisy landscaper crews with blowers/cutters, pool cleaners and so on. Not as peaceful as we had hoped, to enjoy the beautiful backyard! Probably will not return.

Fabulous Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Sapphire Shores! The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for our girls weekend. The outdoor space was beyond perfect! I would highly recommend and will definitely stay during our next trip to Sarasota!

Wedding Weekend

Booked the property for a family wedding and stayed the weekend. The outdoor spaces were fantastic - football and grilling by the pool made for a heavenly Saturday, Very comfortable property, and the proximity to the airport made it very convenient to pick-up / drop-off family. A great overall experience!

Absolutely perfect!

This property was perfect. It is close to everything you could possibly want to do in Sarasota and is in a very safe-feeling and quiet location. It is exactly as advertised and has the cutest indoor and outdoor decor. Everything was spotless, and the beds were super comfy. The backyard is the best part and made us not really want to leave to go do anything else. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and patio area. There is a grill that is fully equipped and an outdoor TV, which made for a lot of fun. We even had a peacock visitor hang out on the front porch for a few hours! Absolutely would love to stay here again.

Relaxing work trip

Property was clean and inviting. I had work and decided to bring the family. We extended the stay and had a blast. We had a personal issue reached out to the property manager. Without hesitation, she jumped right in And took care of it. That exceeded my expectations. If work brings me back. I would definitely book again.

Great for our girls trip!

We had such a fun time at this little house. The tv outside was perfect to watch by the pool. We are definitely planning to stay again! Close to downtown Sarasota so it was a quick Uber ride to several restaurants. Lots of peacocks roaming around the neighborhood and we loved it.

Amazing stay at beautiful home!

Our family loved our Spring Break stay at this beautiful home! The pool was warm despite some chilly temperatures and the outdoor kitchen was amazing for grilling and watching the NCAA tournament. The inside of the home is immaculate and absolutely adorable. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Sapphire Shores. It's a great neighborhood near the bay with peacocks to boot. It's a bit of a trek to the beaches but there's so much more character to this neighborhood than some place like Siesta. And with this backyard, you may not choose to leave! The kitchen was well-appointed with sharp knives and all the right appliances and dishes. It's got one of the widest kitchen windows I've ever seen, so you don't feel you've left the back yard. The only complaint I would have is the lack of basic cable. There are many Smart TVs across the house and one in the yard but they all rely on apps. There is a Samsung TV default that gives current national news. But we struggled to watch the Masters--eventually having to buy Paramount +.

Amazing Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sapphire Shores. The place is clean and wonderfully decorated. And the back patio/pool area is amazing. Truly a place to kick back and relax. Lacey at Mainsail was super responsive and helpful with anything we reached out about. It was easy to get to downtown Saratoga, Lido Beach and even Siesta Key (depending on traffic!). Definitely would stay again if in Saratoga.

Great pool area!

Perfect comfortable 2 bedroom home with open floor plan, comfortable beds, quiet location. Great pool! Great for eating outdoors around the pool. Would go again definitely. Lacey was great answering all of our questions!

Moots of the decorative led lights also did I not work in the front and backyard. One of the gutter led patio lights was also out. I would suggest adding a string or lights on the trellis to make the patio more useful at night.

We’ll Miss this Winter Retreat

We had a wonderful week at this property—and had absolutely perfect weather! Enjoyed seeing roaming peacocks on our morning walks in the neighborhood, ate breakfast/lunch and played cribbage in the outdoor dining area, relaxed and soaked up the sun by the pool, and explored many local restaurants for dinner. Many amenities were provided and accommodations very comfortable. We played tennis at a local park, hit range balls at a local golf course, played mini-golf, and shopped at Ellenton mall. We were sad to leave this winter retreat!
