The spot is a short 10-15 minute drive to the vibrant shores of Ocean Beach or Coronado - making this the perfect base to explore all that San Diego has to offer!

Perfect Place to Stay in SD

I really hit the nail on the head picking this for my 4 days in San Diego, a couple of which I shared with two friends of mine. It's just outside downtown on a hill, and it's the perfect view from the living room windows and balcony. You're right up on the freeway and airport, but the noise is nothing. It actually provides a soothing ambience. Plus I like watching planes, and SD is quite the place to watch them.The place was also clean and well stacked with towels, kitchen utensils and dish ware, phone chargers, a convenient bag for packing up to go to the beach, and healthy snacks laid out in baskets. No AC, but for most of the time in San Diego it's not necessary. Open the windows and sliding glass door, and let that breeze hit you.Sarah's communication was excellent and swift. She also leaves a helpful guidebook next to the kitchen that was thorough and helpful. Everything from tips about certain appliances in the apartment, recommendations on local food and drink spots, earthquake tips, just to me a few things. She hits your VRBO inbox with a good rundown of check-in/checkout instructions which helped make the process very smooth.If you have the opportunity to come out to SD, I can't recommend this property enough. Thanks again to Sarah for opening her place up to me and my two friends for the weekend.--Michael
