Riverfront Retreat located on the Elk River Trail! Welcome to your perfect riverside getaway along the stunning Elk River. Cast a line and enjoy excellent fishing right from the property! Bring your kayak for a float along the winding river. Our house is located at the Elk River Trail Head perfect for walking, biking, or horse riding along the scenic paths. After a day of fun, unwind around the fire pit under the stars or relax on the balcony and watch deer, ducks, geese, beavers, and otters play in the wild.
This house is old world charm with modern amenities, built in 1925. Downstairs is one bedroom, one full bathroom, living room, dining room, full kitchen, laundry room, and children's playroom. Upstairs (spiral staircase) is 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom.

Visit the Elk River Rail Explorers and ride on pedal-powered railbikes along the scenic railway tracks, taking in the mountainous views and waterfalls.
Visit the West Virginia Bigfoot Museum and dive into the legendary creature sightings, view artifacts, and hear stories of Bigfoot encounters.
Visit the Flatwoods Monster Museum to learn about the eerie tale of an infamous, local creature spotted in 1952.

Hello! Welcome to our riverfront retreat. We have 4 kids ranging from a year old to 18 years old. Kimberly is a U.S. Navy veteran and current government employee, and Jeremiah is active-duty U.S. Navy with 18+ years of service. We enjoy watching sports, hunting, fishing, and all things homesteading and outdoors.

What is better than riverfront property in the mountains?? If you're looking for relaxation, enjoy the quiet and serene views right off the balcony while drinking your coffee. If adventure is what you're looking for, bring a kayak and/or finishing poles and enjoy what the famous Elk River has to offer. Be sure to walk or bike the Elk River Trail for your chance to spot the 10 foot tall Bigfoot statue.

Original hardwood floors, doors, trim, and windows still remain. Lots of upgrades and interior remodeling have been done to make it functional and contemporary in today's world.
