The Property
Unlike many lake properties in the area, our home sits on two lots - the beautifully renovated house on one side of the road and a pristine lakefront lot directly across. The lakeside lot features:

Lush, flat grassy area (no steep slopes to navigate!)
Permanent dock with direct lake access
Relaxing hammock for afternoon naps
Firepit for evening s'mores and storytelling

True lakefront access means you're on the main body of water, not tucked away on a channel, giving you the full Lake Pleasant experience.
Inside the Home
Our thoughtfully remodeled lakehouse comfortably sleeps 10 guests:

Bedroom 1: Full-over-full bunk bed (sleeps 4)
Bedroom 2: King bed
Bedroom 3: King bed
Living Room: Pull-out sofa bed plus additional couch

The modern kitchen features beautiful quartz countertops and new cabinetry, fully stocked with nearly everything you'll need for preparing meals. The dining area seats 6 (4 chairs provided), with additional seating for 3 at the kitchen peninsula.
The full bathroom showcases a modern shower with glass sliding doors, while a convenient half bath provides additional convenience for guests.
Amenities

Versatile grill with both charcoal and propane options
New, efficient heat pump system for year-round comfort
Stove/oven, dishwasher, and combination washer/dryer on site
Beautifully landscaped front patio with pavers and comfortable furniture for enjoying lake views

Lake Pleasant
Experience the joy of an all-sports lake without the crowds! Lake Pleasant offers:

Quieter atmosphere than many neighboring lakes
Popular sandbar for daytime socializing
Excellent fishing opportunities (with access to an additional small fishing lake)
Perfect for boating, swimming, paddleboarding, and water sports

Located in scenic northern Indiana, you'll be perfectly positioned for a true lake vacation experience while still being within reach of regional attractions.
Come create lasting memories at our Lake Pleasant retreat, where stunning sunsets and peaceful waters await!

Cute Lakefront Cottage

Our family loved our stay at this beautifully designed, sparkling clean lakefront cottage. The owners are very nice, quick to communicate and left some thoughtful touches upon arrival. We all enjoyed swimming in the lake and sitting out by the water watching the sunset. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had a great supply of items for cooking meals. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!

Relaxing Getaway

The entire property has been completely updated. The beds are comfortable for sleeping and the rooms have plenty of closet and storage space for clothes. The linens and towels there are also plenty available. The outdoor area which is directly on the lake is very nice and you can swim right off of the little beach and Dock area on the property. The property is easily accessible to drive to and from and the lake views especially sunsets are beautiful.

We had the most delightful stay at this charming lake cottage. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel completely at ease—attentive and clearly committed to making our experience great. The cottage itself was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to settle in and relax. The view of the lake was perfect through the large patio doors or the porch/patio, and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking! Our kids were entertained—exploring the outdoors, spotting wildlife, and catching fish. They are already asking when we can come back.Great spot to unwind, reconnect, and make memories.

Long weekend getaway with family.

This is a very well appointed modern cottage that was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The little lake was so nice and peaceful that we ended up not trailering the boat over to Lake James for the last day like we had planned, but just stayed here instead. Our family was able to ski and tube basically right in front of the dock. There is also a clean little beach area on the property that my granddaughter spent countless hours on. Jason is very helpful, and answered our questions promptly. He has also has some wonderful neighbors! We had an awesome fun & relaxing stay that we were sad to see come to an end!

Beautiful and pleasant!!

We had a wonderful stay here !! The place is very newly opened up !! It was pristine and bright ! 2 kayaks were used by us there and they also had a canoe ! Spent time with my family there and it was soo beautiful and relaxing! Were able to spend much time in the water and near the water ! We enjoyed the ease of not having to haul and run to the beach when we had a small beach there !! It was definitely a slice of heaven !! Owners were very friendly and answered questions immediately!! The place is stocked with many items to help the stay go smoothly!! Highly recommend!!!They also went out of their way to return and item we were missing and could not find that we left behind ! 20/10!! I cannot say enough good things !!

Wonderful Second Stay — This was our second time at the lake cottage and we loved it just as much as the first. The home is super clean, peaceful, and perfectly equipped with everything we need for an easy, relaxing getaway. The sunsets are absolutely amazing, and the whole property stays wonderfully quiet throughout the day. The host is very responsive and helpful with anything we needed or any questions that came up. We’ll definitely be back next summer.

Hello! I'm a proud Indiana native who fell in love with Lake Pleasant years ago and finally made the dream of owning a lakehouse here come true. The peaceful setting and spectacular sunsets captured my heart, and I'm thrilled to share this special place with guests.
When I'm not enjoying time at the lake, I value creating spaces that feel like a true escape from everyday life. I've put my heart into renovating this property to strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and lakeside charm.
What I love most about hosting is hearing how families create lasting memories here - whether it's children catching their first fish off our dock, friends gathering around the firepit for evening conversations, or couples unwinding in the hammock with a good book as the sun sets over the water.
Lake Pleasant offers the quintessential lake experience without the crowds, and I'm always happy to share local tips about the best fishing spots, nearby attractions, or where to find the most delicious ice cream in the area!
I strive to be responsive and helpful throughout your stay while respecting your privacy. My goal is for you to feel both well-cared for and completely at home during your visit to our little slice of lakeside paradise.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our lakehouse offers a rare combination of modern comfort and authentic lakefront living that's increasingly hard to find:
Unlike many "lakefront" properties that are actually on channels or require hiking down steep terrain, our home features two complementary lots—a beautifully remodeled house on one side of the road and a flat, accessible lakefront lot directly across. This unique setup gives you both comfortable accommodations and genuine, easy-access waterfront enjoyment.
Our property's western exposure treats you to breathtaking sunsets that transform the sky and lake into a canvas of vibrant colors each evening. The unobstructed views across Lake Pleasant create magical moments you'll remember long after your vacation ends.
Lake Pleasant lives up to its name—offering all the recreation of larger lakes but without the congestion. While neighboring lakes can feel overcrowded with boats and jet skis, our lake maintains a more peaceful atmosphere, perfect for both relaxation and water activities.
We've meticulously updated every aspect of the home with an eye for both style and function. From the quartz countertops and new cabinetry to the efficient heating and cooling system, every detail has been considered to enhance your stay without sacrificing the cozy lake house feel.
The full-over-full bunk bed setup in one bedroom makes our home especially appealing for families with children or groups of friends, comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests while still providing private spaces.
With our modern heat pump system and full amenities, the property isn't just a summer destination. Enjoy spring fishing, fall foliage, or even a peaceful winter retreat with all the comforts of home.
Between the landscaped front patio with lake views, the firepit area perfect for evening gatherings, and the private dock, our property offers multiple outdoor "rooms" to enjoy throughout your stay—extending your living space beyond the house itself.
