To access the building, we send you an email to give you, and your group, access to a simple key system using your phone. You walk up the stairs to the elevators, and take the elevator to the top floor, the 8th floor.

When you exit the elevator, you turn right and then left down the hallway to your home. When you enter the home, it opens to an open, spacious loft. There is a dining area, a kitchen, a living room, a half bathroom,and private patio for those staying on the first level.

If you walk up to the 2nd floor, you will find a spacious loft with two full size beds, a huge closet, and a full bathroom. This is truly a special place, and we look forward to making your stay a 5-star experience!

A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

A: The home is very easy to get to via public transit. If you decide to drive, we recommend apps like SpotAngel or SpotHero to find free or cheap parking ($10-20 / night).

A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you with a starter pack of toilet papers.

A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.

A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don`t actually control this.

A: Very. Some guests say they`re the best they`ve ever slept on!

No Agency Relationship. Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to authorize or empower either party to act as agent for the other party to this Agreement, or to conduct business in the name, or for the account, of the other party to this Agreement.

You have access to our whole home, the private balcony, and the full size gym on the ground floor.

We`re here to help as you need it! We give all of our guests full itinerary for their trip 2 days before their stay.

Printers Row is “pocket” neighborhood just minutes from the Chicago Loop. After the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, the area became the Midwest hub of the printing industry with historically significant buildings designed by legendary architects like Daniel Burnham, William Holabird and William Le Baron Jenney. Today, many of those historic buildings remain but the quiet, tree lined streets are now largely residential. Of course, it continues to be a draw for fans of Chicago architecture.

During the day, the neighborhood is an easy walk to offices in the Loop, off Michigan Avenue, or in LaSalle Street financial centers. After hours, the district is alive with restaurants, boutiques, book and antique stores.

It boasts famous blues clubs, eclectic music venues and neighborhood taverns where residents gather. It also has an annual book fair: The Printers Row Book Fair gathers authors, poets, speakers and, of course, books.

Printer`s Row is also walking distance to Chicago`s Museum Campus, with the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium, and the newly redesigned Soldier Field.

With a 97 walk score and 100 transit score, you can get everywhere your heart desires in Chicago. The Red Line subway is one of the main subways in Chicago, and is only a block away. Many restaurants, shopping, parks, and museums are within walking distance.

There is a NOISE MONITORING system within the home to track decibel noise level. Please respect our neighbors and do not get too loud outside quiet hours :)

Early check-ins/Late check-outs can sometimes be accommodated by our cleaning service for $50 per hour fee.
𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐎𝐮𝐭 – Subject to a $50 fee for every 30 minutes past check-out, or up to the cost of any impacted nights subsequent to originally scheduled check-out.

MID STAY CLEAN reminder
For stays of 15+ days, mid-stay cleaning is REQUIRED at $95-$140. We`ll communicate this after booking to schedule accordingly.

All guest names and ages must be registered before you are allowed to check in.

Guest Verification
As part of our vetting process, we may ask guests to confirm a few details — such as their names, ages, where they’re traveling from, or their travel plans — before accepting a booking. In some cases, we may also request a valid government-issued ID for verification purposes. This helps us ensure that all stays are safe, transparent, and in line with our house policies.

Unresponsive Guest
In some cases, if a guest does not respond within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
For same-day bookings, this timeframe is up to 2 hours or less. For all other bookings, this timeframe is up to 8 hours. This ensures that we can provide the best experience and availability for all our guests.

Online Check-In & Rental Agreement Required
Before receiving check-in instructions, all primary guests must complete our online check-in form and review/sign our rental agreement. This helps verify guest details and ensures a smooth, secure arrival.

EXTRA GUEST CHARGE
The base price covers 4 guests. For more than 4 guests, there is an extra guest fee of $15 per guest for the full number of nights.
Example: 1 extra guest for a 5-night stay = $15 × 5 nights = $75.

Security Deposit (Families with Young Children)
A security deposit may be required for groups traveling with two or more children under 14 years old, as a precaution against accidental damage and cleaning. The deposit is fully refundable, provided there is no damage to the property after a standard post-checkout inspection.

Refundable Security Deposit: A $300 refundable security deposit is required and will be `held` or `authorized` (not `charged`) by Chicago Hospitality Club on your card. Any property damage or extra charges may be deducted from the deposit. VRBO collects platform payments/charges separately, while Chicago Hospitality Club handles the deposit, so seeing both on your statement is normal. The deposit is automatically released 3-7 days after checkout.

Refund Processing Policy
In the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, any bank fees or payment processing charges incurred will be the responsibility of the guest and will be deducted from the refund amount.

Great location- very comfortable space.

Clean and comfortable. Location is perfect for shopping and transit. Parking wasn’t a problem at all. Building offers nice amenities and the host was very friendly and responsive.

Clean and good location

We had a great weekend at the Sonder apartment. It is in walking distance to the Shedd and the field museum as well as many restaurants. You can grab a divvy bike right across the street and bike easily to all of the attractions in Chicago. Apartment was very clean, bed was comfy, and overall it was a very simple stay.

The property altogether the outside means From Work they have a lot of nice furniture, but the property itself is just not upscale. I feel it was a bit pricey for what I was offered. I would also like to let everyone know that this place is on the eighth floor and if they don’t have a cart, you’re gonna struggle with getting your things up like I did and I have fibromyalgia. There was a fire drill that had us. All didn’t know what to do when we were stuck on the back end of the building by the Garbage, trying to get out, not knowing if the building was on fire running with my three year-old down eight flights to stairs. The service of the Property Manager was great because they did try to service me, but it just was too many things wrong for me so just when you get this, Property, be aware that if you have a lot of things, this may not be the property for you if you have illnesses this might not be the property for you but altogether when we could, we did enjoy the property I received a ticket. It’s costing me more money so that parking thing is something you wanna work out before you get here. My honest opinion for the things that happened to me. The Property Manager should’ve refunded me some of my money, but they didn’t. They tried to pay me for the cleaning supplies that I had to buy to clean some things, but I was gonna do that because we are all allergic. I just feel like I have so many downfalls that they should compensated something because I was on spring break

Just what we needed!

We were in town for business and this unit worked out perfectly. Comfortably slept four adults in their own beds. Owners of property did a good job communicating. Plenty to do within walking distance. One minor suggestion is that's it's time for a little TLC. With that said I still gave it 5 stars and would recommended this unit! Thanks

Great place!

We really enjoyed our short stay in the South Loop. The listing is close to all kinds of public transportation -- L, buses, etc. It was easy to get to Museum Campus and Michigan Avenue. The heating is a bit tricky to get right (turning on the radiators helped to warm up the chilly main area, but then needed to be turned off at night because it was too hot for sleeping), and the apartment could use some additional lamps or overhead lighting. The loft stairs made me a bit nervous with kids, but they were careful and handled them well. Our kids loved playing Pac-Man and foosball in the main lobby.

Weekend Training

It was easy communicating with the property managers. They were attentive to our needs. Shower backed up and they fixed it quickly. Who ever did repair, left mess in shower which we cleaned up after a long day of work. We suggest having more lighting in space. Kitchen and bathroom walls needed to be painted better, too

Location is great, condo was alright

The location in the neighborhood and on the top floor are great, although there was practically zero view! The unit needs more lighting in the living and dining rooms, and the light was out in the upstairs closet which pretty much meant it was unusable. We needed more blankets, more hand towels and washcloths, more kitchen gear (no ice cream scooper for example!). The seating area was very cramped and the tv is quite small. Some games or cards in the place would be nice. Also the photos in the vrbo listing are mostly photos of a different unit. Overall definitely did the job, but 5 stars it was not when we were there.

Appartement très agréable

La propriété est tout à fait conforme à sa description. Couchages agréables, appartement très propre, et la terrasse, quoiqu'un peu bruyante à cause des climatisations de l'immeuble, est vraiment un must ! Emplacement parfait pour découvrir la ville, et propriétaires très réactifs.
