Treehouse Cabins Near LBJ Grasslands & Oakhill Raceway- Sleeps 8

We’re Michelle and Andy, and we created 4Forty4 Ranch as a place where guests can step away from busy schedules, reconnect with nature and enjoy the slower pace of country life.

What we love most about hosting is giving couples, solo travelers and outdoor enthusiasts a comfortable place to relax and make meaningful memories. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee beside the pond, exploring the nearby grasslands or unwinding beneath the stars, we hope your time at the ranch leaves you feeling rested and refreshed.

Escape to 4Forty4 Ranch, a peaceful North Texas retreat near Alvord and Decatur. Designed for 8 total guests, the cozy cabins features a comfortable king-size bed, Wi-Fi, TV, heating and air conditioning, a mini refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker.

Outside, relax in the hammock, enjoy coffee on the private patio or spend the evening around the fire pit beneath the Texas stars. Guests also have access to shared ranch amenities, including pickleball, cornhole, outdoor grills and peaceful areas near the pond.

A private full bathroom with a shower and hair dryer is located in the nearby bathhouse, approximately 10-20 yards from each cabin. Each cabin has it's own private bathroom.

Located across the road from the Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands and approximately two miles from Oak Hill Raceway, 4Forty4 Ranch is an ideal home base for couples, outdoor enthusiasts, hunters and travelers seeking a quiet country getaway near the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Pets are welcome!
