Great communication and easy check-in process. Nice house, great value, and RIGHT ON THE BEACH with a SHORT walking trail through the grass to the beach. Lots of other "beachfront" rentals are set way back, across the street, or behind other rows of houses.

The house is steps from the beach. It was clean but could use an update. We had a wonderful stay. I would rent again.

When we entered the property, we were greeted by a rotten seafood smell (accompanied by circling flies) coming from the sink. Once we got beyond that, we took in the missing window pane in the kitchen, mildew on the living room furniture, ripped off siding exposing a bunch of rotting wood, a broken railing on the 2nd floor (we had small kids with us so that’s especially concerning), half of the vertical blinds missing in the master bedroom, multitude of broken lamps and lamps with burnt out lightbulbs, broken shower doors that you couldn’t close all the way unless you had someone outside to let you out, silverfish in the beds, mysterious stains on the walls next to the toilet, stains on the ceiling - altogether deplorable condition for a house that charges 700 a night. The icing on the cake was the dryer that doesn’t turn off on its own, it runs for hours until you turn it off - massive fire hazard. We read earlier reviews that stated they had trouble getting pool access. I sent 2 emails prior to arrival that went unanswered and followed up with a phone call. On that call, I was told someone else would have to contact me with that information. Needless to say, I was suspicious and surprised to get a text stating I would need to pick up a key fob at the office… 35 minutes away. That should be disclosed when you book, not after 3 attempts to contact management.

Beachfront family stay

Perfect location, house was spacious and clean for the most part. Bring your own beach towels, beach toys, and beach chairs. Kind of strange that there were none of those things available. The management company did not respond about how to get into the pool.

If you’re looking for a beachfront getaway where the sand is your front yard and the only traffic jam is a line of pelicans, this place delivers. The location is absolutely unbeatable — steps from a quiet, car-free stretch of beach!The layout is great too — we loved the master suite being upstairs, where you can pretend you’re a sea captain surveying your domain… if only the deck chairs didn’t sit approximately two inches off the ground. Seriously, I’ve had more elevation on a yoga mat.Favorite part for adults and children - the outside shower has hot water! Everyone loved leaving the sand downstairs, cleaning up and heading inside for the evening. I don’t even know if we used an inside shower during our stay. That said, the house has seen some things. Everything has a generous coating of rust (I get it’s a beach house and things rust but the door knobs, the fridge, the oven, the showers…), like it’s been slowly auditioning to become part of a shipwreck. No beach chairs were provided, so bring your own unless you enjoy sitting directly in sand like an overgrown toddler.And the beds… let’s just say if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to sleep on a pile of springs wrapped in a polite suggestion of fabric, this is your chance.All in all: location 10/10. Comfort 3/10. Would I come back? Eh… I’d definitely pack a chair and a mattress topper if you plan to book. We left our beach toys and bodyboards in the garage for the next guests to enjoy!

We enjoyed our vacation but the house had some issues. I liked how the property was steps from the beach but I wish they had made the walk way safer. It was overgrown and looked like the perfect place for snakes. The house was nice, clean, beds comfortable. They had enough towels, extra blankets, kitchen items, and extra fans. The only downside is a lot of stuff was broken and I let the host know on the first night and nobody ever contacted me a response on this. They had a window in kitchen that was gone and replaced with just a wooden board, latch on balcony porch door broken, dryer in house won't turn off and ran all night the first night, kids room blinds broken, kids bathroom inside shower door towel holder broken and had sharp ends, outdoor shower broken, no bathtub stopper in one of tubs, very poor water pressure in showers. If they took some time to update/fix these things then the place would have been amazing!
