A studio cottage guesthouse in our fenced backyard surrounded by trees. Incredibly serene and quiet.

Take a soak in the jacuzzi tub or read by the electric fireplace. Enjoy your rest in a Sleep Number bed.

Cozy little cottage, just right for 1-2 people. Quiet and comfortable, cute little porch for sitting, and AC which was handy for our increasingly hot summers.

This was our first VRBO and what we got was less than what we expected. Right off just getting into the place was a pain. The code for the lock was give as XX XX XX rather than XXXXXX making us think you had to push 2 buttons at once. Then once we did get the code in correctly, with the help of the host's son, the door didn't open on the first try making us think we messed up the code but with some help again from the host's son we found that the handle had to be turned twice. Once inside the bed and main space was fine but the bathroom was unusual at best. The toilet was so close to the wall that there had to be cutouts in the wall for both the toilet flush handle and the TP roll. This was all because of the 2-person Jacuzzi bathtub that took up most of the bathroom floorspace. While the tub was nice the fact that the shower was built into it was not. Getting into the tub required a small step stool and when in the tub using the shower the floor of the tub became VERY slippery. Some kind of mat in the tub probably would have helped. Then as we were leaving were we highly recommended to strip the bed and wash the sheets and pillowcases. I don't know if this part is standard for VRBO's but we weren't wild about it. Since we are an older couple, the experience was not a good one for us. The best thing about the whole trip was the North Bend Bakery.

Thank you for your feedback, Ken. We’re sorry the cottage wasn’t the right fit for your stay. The bathroom does have a unique layout with a large two-person Jacuzzi tub/shower, which is shown in our listing photos so guests can see the setup before booking. We’re sorry there was some initial confusion with the door code. Our son was able to assist right away, and you were inside within a few minutes. We’ll take your feedback and work on making the entry instructions even clearer. We also want to clarify that while we send a typical vacation-rental checkout list, our message specifically states that all checkout tasks are optional. Guests are never required to strip the bed or wash the sheets. We’re glad you enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub—and we definitely agree about the North Bend Bakery!
